Protector (Nalu)

Part 9

-Natsu-

I was so busy focusing on the way Lucy's hair bounced slightly, or the way her big brown eyes were sparkling when she talked about her book, of the way the scratch looked on her neck to realize the guild had gone quiet, and looked at two people, what I saw even shocked me, Gray kissing Juvia...

Suddenly he ran out and she fell to her knees, red all over, I looked at Lucy who was smiling as she looked at me

"Can I go talk to him?"

Confused as to why she was asking me I wanted to strictly say "no" but didn't, I don't want her knowing I like her...there was no way she liked me back

"Sure?"

I watched as she took off running, a weird feeling inside me, I didn't want her anywhere near another guy, or anyone...I wanted Luce.

"Juvia?! Wow! MY SHIPPP"

Mira yelled and the guild started laughing. Juvia getting to her feet as she ran out, possibly after Luce and Gray, sooner or later my beautiful blonde came back, her smile was angelic. She came to me and messed with my hair, her hands were so gentle

"Lets go home now...k?"

I nodded ad left, knowing Happy would want to stay behind. I walked beside Lucy, the air was nice, mainly with her scent mixed in it.

"So...Luce"

But at the same time she said

"Natsu.."

She chuckled and I blushed, feeling shy suddenly when I saw the light of the moon gleaming on her body.

"Natsu...I'm sorry for the way I yelled before...I just...hated that you left and it hurt"

"I'm sorry I left...Loke and I had a talk...Luce...d-do you like me?"

She went red, I honestly didnt know the truth and I blushed at her reaction

"N-nastu...I do and I know it's wrong because we're comrads but I do"

My body was burning, then I looked around, smelling something sour, something like...blood I looked around to see where the smell came from, then realized Lucy had blood on her arms

"Luce...:"

-Lucy-

Crap, my arm caught on my jacket and I scratched it to hard, Natsu noticed and saw my arm. I winced when he grabbed it, worry in his eyes.

"Luce...what happened...I didn't see these before..."

Realization filled his eyes as he looked at me

"You cut. I hurt you that bad?"

"No Natsu...you are so kind and caring and sweet...and"

I felt my eyes travel to his lips, the feeling inside me was physically hurting

"Luce.."

His voice was way deeper then before...I found myself blushing as he leaned closer, his lips so close that I could feel his breath against mine

"N-nastu"

I whispered..I felt myself being drawn in until I heard a familiar laugh, Natsu instantly turning around, keeping me behind him

"Whos there?!"

A girl in all black stepped out, her hair was a deep red and in braided pigtails, I recognized her when she gave me her scary smirk

"BLONDIE"

I felt panic and grabbed hold of his arm, then I grabbed my keys

"OPEN GATE OF THE LION! LOKE"

The familiar boy with orange hair and glasses appeared

"I got it covered...Natsu protect Lucy"

Both boys nodded and Natsu picked me up and threw me over his shoulder, making me blush as he ran to the forest and let me down, panting.

"Natsu look at me"

I laid my hand on his cheek and caused him to turn very red

"We'll be okay, I promise." 

and with that I kissed him, taking a second but feeling his lips move to the rhythm with mine as his hand snaked around my hips and mine around the back of his neck, he lightly moved his hands as if telling me to jump up and I did, being startled that  that his hands went to the underside of my thighs and he kissed me again. soon we had out tongues dancing and my back pressed into the tree behind me, natsu was so close to me. finally he put me down and we both kept panting, and blushing

"Luce...I love you, be mine"

I blushed very dark but liked the idea

"I will."
