Part 15

~three months later~

-Lucy-

I left the guild a little while ago on a mission with Natsu, just us. What we were doing is trying to find the corrupted guard at the Jade palace. We had a while to do this of course and everyone was a suspect. There was a big murder in the capitol that they didnt let out to the public but they called for help from out guild and we just happened to get to it, when we got to the palace we were shown to our rooms to unpack since we'd be there for a few weeks.

"Lucy, It's strange"

I looked up to see my familiar pink headed boyfriend leaning on the door frame with Happy on his head

"What is?"

I smiled as I realized happy was asleep

"A murder happened here, yet they only suspect the guards. Not one of higher powers. Why? Is it because they think they're not loyal?"

I hadnt thought of it that way, why blame guards when it could have been anyone?

"M..dont know Natsu...."

He smiled when I kissed his cheek

"Whoops...wrong time to pop in"

I giggled, knowing the voice behind me belonged to the most flirty person in the whole fucking world

"Loki...how are you?"

I turned to face him, seeing he was in his normal suit but hair was nicer

"I...came to ask something"

I shrugged

"K?"

"For...the next few days...please don't call me...please"

I smiled at that

"Finally with Aries?"

I teased him, but seeing him blush told me I was right

"I won't call you, I promise. I wont call her either"

"Thank you Lucy...I owe you one"

I smiled, feeling the heat of Natsu behind me, knowing he was jealous by this but I ignored him

"After all the times you saved me...I think I owe you this anyway...have fun"

He smiled and vanished, leaving me with Natsu

"Luce...I have a strange feeling"

I giggled

"Called jealousy."

He shook his head and looked serious

"Something weird is going on in this palace...we need to be on guard at all times."

I was taken aback...Natsu was being serious which was never good and his gut feelings were always right.
