Protector (Nalu)

Part 18

-Natsu-

I was upset, ticked off more about the fact that Lucy SNUCK out to go the park when she knew she was being stalked and was in danger, even called upon her spirits to help her because she was stupid.

JP (Jade Princess)- "Natsu, I came to see how the investigation was going..."

I looked up, spooked since I was in the dining hall it made sense I'd see her here, I noticed her posture was a little leaned

"You okay Princess?"

she smiled, her eyes looked weak like Lucy's when she'd first waken up but if he was after her why didn't he take her a long time ago?

JP- "I'm just tired"

I nodded, noticing the light trace of fog, it had the same scent as Lucy did before

"Good, and the investigation is..going, we have a little bit but you'll have to ask Lucy about it"

she nodded and bowed, I caught her before she fell 

JP- "Sorry, I'll go consult Mrs. Heartfilia"

she took off running and I had a very bad feeling so I went following her and heard a scream so I ran faster, when I got to her my eyes were wide and I felt my anger boil. Lucy had blood on her head and neck, head leaned back and tied to a chair.

N- "L-luce..."

tears poured from my eyes and I felt a deep fire burn in my body as I walked closer, burning the ropes as her body fell into my body and her had tilted just enough to the side I could see she was still breathing so I yelled

N- "LOKE YOU BASTARD YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO PROTECT HER! WERE THE HELL ARE YOU?!"

H- "Natsu! whats wrong with Luce?!"

he hugged her and she moaned in pain

L- "N-nastu"

JP- "W-who did this?!"

her brown eyes flickered open 

L- "You don't look good crying Natsu..."

she grabbed her keys and winced before saying

L- "Gate of the lion! Leo"

the orange haired man appeared with a smile that faded when he saw Lucy

Leo- "LUCY?!"

JP- "I need to find the doctor"

she left the room and Happy was still crying

L- "It's okay Happy, I'll be okay. I was right. It's her maid."

I nodded and slid her into Lokes arms 

Leo- "You shouldn't be so reckless Lucy Heartfilia"

she smiled at me 

N- "permission?"

L- "don't go overboard but I grant it."

I stormed out to find the maid by his scent and when I found him I was so angry, fire cover my body 

N- "FIRE DRAGON ROAR"

I breathed out fire that damaged every area around him and him, anger still burning inside me but I informer the princess that he was the murderer and hoped she took care of him as I went back to Lucy who was still in Loke's arms 

N- "Lets leave Luce."

I was very jealous that she was in his arms of course but I helped her up and she hugged me

H- "Your in loooovvvveee~~~~~"

he laughed as Loke disappeared again. We got back to the guild and Erza was glaring at me which made me scared so I hid behind Lucy

E- "I heard Lucy got hurt. why didn't you protect her?!"

G- "Yeah, that's a bad boyfriend"

L- "Like you do any better Gray"

he glared at her and it was my turn to laugh, noticing Levy looking at Lucy who sensed it too and bit her lip before she smiled at me and took her leave with Happy.
