The next morning I was awaken by Lex creeping into my bed.

"I'm sorry." She whispered as she nuzzled into the covers with me.

I turned to face her still very much half asleep and I gave her a sleepy smile. "It's okay." She smiled and kissed my forehead and she got comfortable on the other side of me.

I turned to my nightstand checking my phone on the charger port.

It was currently 9:25am and I had a few text messages.

Two from Vanessa.

- Hey chika, Miss u! Come home soon.
- Also update Asap is taken me out later today so I'm stoked. Need my favorite girls speech to help me tho. Love ya.

I quickly sent her a text for some moral support.

Then I checked and I had one from Shawn.

Good morning hun. Pretty sure your still asleep but I just wanted to say I hope you have a good day today and thank you for listening to me have a slight Existential crisis last night. I also enjoined hearing your cute light snores. Hope to hear from you soon.

I couldn't help but laugh at the late part. I placed my phone back on the charger never replying back and quickly falling back into a deep sleep with him on my mind but in a good way.

"Girls wake up! It's already past noon." My mom nudged me and my sister to wake up.

"Mom. Stop." Lex groaned as she placed the cover over her head.

I turned a few times before sitting up half dazed rubbing my eyes to adjust to the bright sun my mom let in after pulling the curtains back.

"Mom." I whined covering my eyes.

"Kathrine. Get up. You have a guest downstairs." My mom said folding her arms across her chest trying to hold a huge grin.

I raised an eyebrow at her unaware if I was hearing correctly. "Who is it?" I asked confused.

"Go downstairs and see for yourself. First fix your hair and brush your teeth." She pointed at my messy bed hair.

I felt Lex turning quickly sitting up so fast.

"Who's here?!" She said loudly looking at my mom.

"You, Alexandria should be sleeping in your own room missy. We can't change your routine." My mom pointed at my sister who groaned at the mention of her full name.

"I missed my sister. Sue me mom." Lex spoke bitterly.

"Lex!" I shot her a glance and she looked at me wide eyed before she turned and got out the room but not before saying sorry to our mom who was hurt by my sisters small outburst. She went to her room and slammed her door making my mom close her eyes and take deep breaths.

"It's okay Kat, the older she's getting the more this is becoming a thing. This is why she needs a schedule at all times." My mom said to me as I held her arm to make sure she was okay.

Her eyes sparkled and her smile was as always beautiful and bright. "Hurry downstairs Missy." My mom adjusted her attitude and smiled before turning and living my room.
