The car halted with a screech and Jin glanced here and there to make sure nobody noticed him. His face was surely covered in the same dental black mask but there was no way he could take the risk with being the renowned idol he is. He knew the risk he was taking. Neither he or the boys were supposed to roam around like this without the security staff but the homely feeling his hometown gave made it impossible to.
Bodyguards drew attention anyway.
He tapped his fingers on the steering wheel humming 'Epiphany' softly to pass the time with his eyes fixed on the main entrance. He wasn't even sure if she'll come out or go straight from the parking lot but it didn't hurt to try and he had a little idea that she went with Jae to the same cafe again after the classes were over.
She got an obsession with that cafe. Maybe the caffeine was really good there.
That cafe only made him remember the incident Taehyung seemed to laugh a lot about and he sighed. There was nothing he could do except stay confused about what this feeling was. There was a hint in his mind that it could be jealousy but the confidence of Myon not being the 'it' girl for him overpowered it, always.
"I'm the one I should love in this world..." He hummed softly and he smiled remembering what Myon had said when he had a video call with her while recording it.
"You love yourself a lot already." She had said while barely looking at the screen due to the blush covering her face.
Now that she has confessed he can relate every time she was shy with him or embarrassed for no reason. It may be her hesitation to speak her opinions on matters or may her ability to lose her sanity to clumsiness, he knows it was all due to him. He made her nervous.
Thinking that he may miss the chance to meet her he took out his phone to text her up, 'Hey, I'm outside. Come meet me?' As soon as he hit the send button he blew out the air between his teeth and felt like face-palming himself. What if she gets nervous now? That shouldn't even be a question. She'll surely get nervous and he wasn't expecting her to ditch him or something but she wasn't going to be herself too. He knows her.
While he was busy telling himself how much of an idiot he is someone knocked on his window pane and he came out of his thoughts. He looked to see Myon smiling at him and a smile automatically formed on his lips.
She was dressed in casual denim shorts with a white crop top and a jacket upon that. He unlocked the car door for her and giving a tight smile she slipped in.
"Hi." He said grinning at her, deep in his heart afraid if he was being too frank after breaking her heart but she smiled back and he took a breath of relief.
"Hey." She smiled looking at him.
He didn't reply and his gaze remained fixed on her. He could feel the heat rushing all over his face and he looked away, confused as to why he was feeling shy where she looked absolutely normal.
Myon herself was surprised over her loss of nervousness but deep down she knew it. Before when she didn't have confessed there was fear of him judging her upon anything she'll do but now when she knew he had no feelings whatsoever, it didn't matter anymore. He was not going to accept her anyway.
