"So, your exams-"
"Please, shut up." She groaned even before he could complete the sentence and he alarmed up. In the middle of his sentence, he looked wide-eyed towards her to confirm if she really told him to shut up. This didn't make him angry or mad, instead, he was amused.
She was anything but in the mood of talking about her exams. The exams seemed like a knife hanging right at her neck and she didn't need any more people reminding her about them. Her parents and teachers are enough already.
"Okay, cool. I'll shut up." He said trying to maintain his serious persona but failed miserably as Myon stared at him. He let out a chuckle and she still stared at him confused. Her eyebrows met in confusion and she tilted her head to actually figure out why he was laughing.
She wasn't even worried about him. It was written all over his face, he wasn't even a slightest mad.
"What's wrong with you today?" She asked and he shook his head.
"You tell me. How you're not an embarrassing mess today?" He questioned back and she laughed, collapsing back on the leather seat. She shrugged there, going against her decision of telling the truth.
It would only appear as she's being rude because he rejected her.
"You wanted to talk?" She asked softly and he nodded.
Taking a deep breath he opened his mouth to say something but closed it back immediately. There was a confusion brewing inside his mind. He debated if he should actually tell her what he wanted to talk about. For whatever reason it was- which he didn't know- she was being normal with him after a really long time. He didn't wish to lose this newfound carefree Myon.
"Nothing major, tell me what's up?" He decided against his initial decision as he spoke and she shrugged.
"I made a new friend." She smiled and his face perked up in interest. He smiled and nodded for her to continue, "Just met him recently. He's kinda cool." She said and he nodded. A part of his mind suspected if he was the same guy from the cafe and he couldn't control himself anymore.
"What about that guy in the cafe?" He asked and her face tilted in confusion. She stared at him, expecting to explain but he simply stared back.
"Which guy?"
"I don't know. Bong was saying." He shrugged, looking away and she sighed loudly, cursing at Bong. His habit of gossiping was really a turn off at times. Out of all the people, he could've told, Jin it is. She should really break her friendship with him.
"He's such a gossip guy."
