Chapter 6- The Dream

We sat on the side of the beach and watched the sunset. The birds that were hopping on our backs flew above us, and into the sky. I rested my head on his shoulder.

I broked the silence.

"Will this last?"

Without even looking at me, he just smiled and said, "Why ask? Let's just make it last."

I woke up.

I looked at my phone.

6:28AM

7 unread messages

Walang pasok pero Yza texted, inviting me to watch a movie. Apat daw binili nyang tickets, I don't know kung para saan yung dalawa pa.

I called her pero di sya sumasagot so binasa ko nalang yung 3 pang unread messages.

"Hi. Yza told me na kasama ka daw namin mamaya with your boyfriend? See you later. This is Tom, by the way."

I saved his number. Pero whaaaat. Sino yung alleged boyfriend ko daw? Is Tom Felton here?!

May dalawa pa, from a different number naman.

"Hoy save mo to."

"Si Drake to. Di na ko grounded kaya nagagamit ko na car ko. See you at 5?"

I replied.

"Wag na. Magtataxi nalang ako."

Then dahil wala namang nagrereply kela Yza, nireplyan ko na rin si Tom.

"See you. PS- don't have a boyfriend :)"

After an hour, tumawag si Yza.

"Hi Kh-"

"Ano yung sinasabi mo na boyfriend ko si Drake?"

"Sabi ko lang kay Tom, we're going out with your boyfriend. Wala akong sinabi na si Drake yun. Malay mo si Tom dba?" Then tumawa sya na parang naloloka.

"Ewan ko sayo. By the way, Drake confessed."

"Na mahal ka nya? Sinagot mo na?"

"Na bakla sya," then we laughed. "Hindi. Di naman nanliligaw. Nagconfess lang."

"Ganun na yun. Pano na si papa Tom?"

"Edi iyo na siya."

"Iba type ko e."

"Ewan ko sayo. Lahat naman type mo! Haha"

We talked like that for hours until Mom called me for lunch.

"Ma, aalis kami mamaya nila Yza. Manonood daw ng movie."

"Kasama nyo ba si Drakie?"

Nasamid ako. Ang gay ng name na yun! Bagay sa kanya. May pang-asar na ko.

"Ma, muntik na kong mabulunan. Drake name nya. Although ang cute rin nung Drakie."

"Pag kayo na lalambingin mo sya tapos you'll tickle him and say, 'Baby. Baby Drakie. Baby baby Drakie.'"

"Haha. Ang kulit mo Ma. Pero ayoko pa. Studies muna."

"Kaya naman kampante ako sayo e," Mom said. Two months nalang summer vacation na. Nagpaalam ako kay Mama na mag-oouting kami nila Drake. Pumayag naman sya. And 1 month nalang debut ko na!!!

Tinanong nya ko kung gusto ko daw ba maging escort si Drake.

"Kahit sino okay lang. Basta may escort!" and then we laughed.

2 hours later...

Yza texted me.

"Girl, wag ka na magcommute. Nandito sa bahay sina Tom at Drake. Supposedly, sabay lang kami ni Tom pero ayaw mo daw pumayag na magpahatid kaya sumabay nalang samin si Drake and sunduin ka na rin daw namin. Para sabay tayong apat! :)"

I replied.

"Okay. Shower lang ako."

Nagbibihis ako when someone knocked on my door.

"Bes pasok ako ha?"

Pagpasok nya, nagulat ako at nahiya dahil akala mo pupunta sya sa wedding nila Marian Rivera at Dingdong Dantes. Makapag-dress wagas! Gownlord.

"San punta?"

She laughed. "Gaga. Ikaw ang san pupunta? Nakakasawa puro blouse at jeans. Halika dito hahawahan kita ng konting fashion."

Then pumunta sya sa closet ko at namili ng damit.

"Yellow?"

"Ew. Pink or Blue."

"This?"

"Go," I replied. Nauna syang bumaba sakin kasi nauuhaw daw sya. After I finished applying powder on my face, I grabbed my handbag and headed downstairs. At the top of the stairs, I saw Drake and Tom looking at me with their mouths open. Ang OA nila. Dahan dahan ako sa pagbaba. Mahirap na, baka mawapoise pa. When I was near the bottom of the stairs, Tom rushed and offered me his hand, which I accepted.

"Thanks."

"My pleasure, to assist such a simple yet beautiful lady like you," he smiled.

"Daming alam."

Panira talaga tong Drake na to.

"Let's go, guys!" Yza said smiling at me. Si Tom ang nagdrive, sa harap si Drake, then tabi kami sa likod ni Yza.

Nagbubulungan kami about the 2 guys.

"Taray. Chicks ka talaga bes, pag laki manok!"

"Corny mo. Bakit mo pa kasi ako pinagbihis ng sobrang gara. Manonood lang naman tayo," I said, clearly annoyed.

"Ayaw mo yun. Pinag-aagawan ka ngayon nung dalawang mokong oh. Uso kasi maglovelife."

"As if you have one."

"Ha. You just don't know."

"Hoyyyyy. Sino yan ha?"

"Secret. You'll meet him on your debut. Advance Happy Birthday!" she said with a hug.
