Chapter 4: Worried about her

Tom's pov
I woke up and got on my phone to text y/n. I texted her if she could pick me up because I had no ride. I put the phone down and pick out an outfit. I put on a white plain t with a yellow sweater and black pants. I put on a red cap too and these shoes

I go downstairs to get some breakfast. I make myself some scrambled eggs and bacon. I sat down and started eating. I check my phone if she responded. Nothing. I got worried, but I took a deep breath and told myself
"She probably just woke up late, I hope"

I waited outside for her, but she wasn't there, I tried texting her again, but still nothing. So I decided to just ask Zen. I also told her that y/n wasn't responding.

TEXT
Z: she probably is just sick or has no wifi. Just stay calm.
T: I hope you're right.
Z: I'll be there in 5
T: k thanks

END OF TEXT

Zen pulled up on the driveway
"Come on, let's go!" Zen shouted
U notice there was another person in the car. It's Jacob!
"Oh and by the way Jacob's here too" She followed.
"Hey Tom" J said
"Hey J" I replied back
I hop into the car and Zen dove off

We drove up to the entrance of acting class and hoped that y/n would be there and she was pulling a prank and just not texting me. I take a deep breath before walking in. I slowly open the doors and search around the room to see if she was here. No. She wasn't there. I got worried and nervous. My head was full of worried thoughts.
"What if something bad happens to her, or what if she moved, maybe she-"

Zendaya's pov

We got to class and y/n was no where to be found there. I saw Tom was really nervous so I went over to him ton calm down
"Hey Tom." I rest my hand on his shoulder "Y/n's probably fine. She might've slept in, or she's really sick, or her wifi went down."
"You're right, I'm just over reacting" he said calmly.

"Ok class! We're gonna be doing a skit of being worried. It's gonna be about one of you being worried that you might've lost someone important to you or something." Mrs.H yells to the class
I saw Tom alone, and he didn't have a partner. I asked Jacob if it was ok if I could go with Tom and he'd find another partner. He was ok with it. I went over to Tom
"Hey, Tom. You want to be partners?" I ask
I saw his face lighten up a bit
"Yeah sure!" He replied

"I guess we could just do what happened this morning for our skit." I questioned
"Ya sure, we could." He answered back
"Ok let's practice our lines first" I suggested
"That's a good idea" he said frowning
"It's okay, we don't have to do this."I comfortingly said
"It's ok, I'm just worried about her." He said
"I know, I know. I am too" I say as I hug him. "We better get started or else we won't get anything done" I forcefully said
"Ya we should"

Tom's pov

We memorized our lines and we just needed to do the emotions. I guess I just have to think of her and think of all the bad things that might've happened. We practiced doing our emotions with the script and I felt pretty heartbroken on the inside because of all the terrible thoughts I head.
"Wow tom! That was pretty good!" Zen complimented. "You looked pretty heartbroken and it was amazing!"
"That's because I was.." I whispered

"Times up! Everyone take a seat" Mrs.H yelled "any volunteers?"
"We'd like to go." Zen shouted
"Ok, you two can come up!"
We walked op on the stage and got into our positions.

We finished our skit and so did everyone else.
"You guys are free to go! Have fun everyone!" Mrs.H screamed
I rush out of the room and get into Z's car and wait for her. We drove to y/n's house asap. I step out fo the car as soon as Z parks. I rush to y/n's door and knock on it. No one answers. I knock a few more times. Still, no ones there. I run up to Z and tell her no one's home. I got so worried and nervous I started pacing around the car and bitting my nails.
"Hey, Hey, hey, calm down." She says as she sits me down. "They might've went on a trip for a day"
"She would've told us if she did, but I hope you're right" I said calming down
I walk back to Z's car and we head off to fro Yo's (a frozen yogurt place)

We got some Fro Yo's and headed into Z's car to eat. I got some cotton candy Fro Yo with some chocolate chips, gummy bears, m&m's, and some peanuts. Z got cookies and cream Fro Yo and peanuts. Z put some Billie Eilish music and we talked about the good old days. When we finished Z asked if I could stay over at Her house to have a sleepover with me, her and J. I thought to myself
"Why not?"
So we got into her car and drove to J's house to pick him up.

The sleepover was fun. We had a pillow fight and stayed up until 2 in the morning rewatching some of our favourite movies. I couldn't sleep because I kept thinking of y/n, I kept thinking bad stuff that might've happened to her. I hope that she'll be back in the morning.

NEXT DAY

I wake up before Z and J. I sit up and check my phone. I try texting y/n again and hopefully she'll respond. I thought to myself
"Gosh, I'm so worried about her.
