Chapter 6: loving her

When I realized who texted me I cried, I cried tears of joy...

It was her, y/n. She finally responded. I rushed to see what she texted and she said:

Y/n: hey.. uh sorry for not responding.
T: y/n! Omg, are you okey, what happened, why didn't you respond?
Y/n: sorry, it's just...
T: y/n you can tell me, I'll be here for you, whatever it is.
Y/n: I'm sorry, ya just really hard for me to talk about.
T: it's okey, you don't have to tell me, but if you need someone to talk to, I'll be here.
Y/n okey thanks🙃

I put my phone in my pocket and put my shoes and hat on. I get my keys and drive off to her house.

Your pov
You put the phone away and start burying your face into your pillow and start crying.

A few minutes later you hear a knock o your door.
"Not now mom" you said holding back your tears.
"Y/n please, I'm here for you." You got up in confusion, it wasn't your moms voice. You wipe your tears away so Tom won't see. You open up the door and Tom was standing in front of you with some Oreos (your favourite food).
"Hey, y/n are you alright?" He questioned
"Um, ya I'm fine" you said trying not to cry
"Y/n, I know somethings wrong, you can tell me, I'll be here for you. Always." He said comfortingly
"Thanks Tom" I said
Tom walked in and closed the door.
"Okay so the reason why I wasn't texting you back or on my phone for the past few days." I paused I tried not to cry, but I couldn't help it anymore. I bursted my tears out, Tom held me and hugged me and said
"Don't worry, everything is gonna be alright."
We cuddled for another minute
"Umm, So did my mom open the fort for you when you came in?" I asked
"Yeah, why?" He replied
"Yeah umm, it would've been my dad if..." my eyes started to pool with tears again.
"Oh y/n, I'm so sorry" r said holding me tight. "You know we'll always be here for you"
"Thank you" I whispered.
Tom started to get up, but I didn't want him to go. He reminds me of my dad, a lot!
"Wait, Tom." I said pulling him back.
"Ya what is it?" He said in confusion
"Can you stay for a little bit longer?" I held his hand tighter.
"Sure, whatever it takes to make you happy." He smiled

Tom's pov

I sat down on the bed beside y/n again. I asked her if she wanted to watch a movie. She agreed and turned on the tv. We went on Netflix and tried to find a movie to watch. She chose to watch Spider-Man: Far From Home. We were about half way into the movie when I felt y/n's head fall on my shoulder. I looked over and I saw she was sleeping. She's so cute when she's sleeping I thought to myself. I started to cuddle her and put a blanket on top of us.

We finished the movie and I woke her up and told her I was gonna go.
"Thank you, for everything." She smiled
"Your welcome, just call me whenever you need anything"I smile back
I walk out of her room and see her mom
"Hey umm Mrs./n" I say
"Oh hey tom!" She smiled
"I'm sorry for your husband"
"Oh, she told you?" She asked
"Ya," I replied
"Oh, well, thanks for cheering her up, she's been really down lately." She says
"No problem" I smile
"And your always welcome here" she put her hand I. My shoulder
We both smile
She walks me out their house and now I know y/n's okay, I feel so much better.

I drive back to my house and lay on my bed feeling great.
