It's the next day and I woke up to the smell of grilled cheese and hash browns. I look over to where Tom was sleeping and he wasn't there. I thought to myself
"Huh? He's probably in the bathroom or cooking like he always does. I walk out of the tent rubbing my eyes to adjust to the lighting. I squint at the figure who was standing near the table making that delicious smell, and u was right, it was Tom, like usual.
"Hey" I say in a tired voice
"Morning," Tom says with a smile "beautiful" he says under his breath
"Hmm?" I ask wondering what he said
"Huh, What?" He questions
"Never mind" I shake my head
I few seconds of silence were broken by me asking
"You need any help?" I ask
"Uh, sure. I could use some help" he says
"I'll work on the hash browns!" I say quietly
U see an annoyed look then a smile, I smiled back at him
I walk over to where Tom was cooking the hash browns and I start cooking them. Soon I have a few big stacks of hash browns. I walk into zen and Jacob's tent and I wake them up for breakfast
They soon get out of their tent and sit on the table. Zen takes 1 grilled cheese sandwich and a few hash browns, Jacob takes 1 grilled cheese and a half and takes a few hash browns, Tom takes a grilled cheese sandwich and 2 hash browns, I take a grilled cheese sandwich and 3 hash browns.
"Mmmm, these are good. Who made them?" Jacob questioned.
I was about to say Tom did, but he cut me off by saying
"Me and y/n did." He says smiling at me. I smile back.
Soon all of us Finnish eating and I suddenly feel someone grip onto my arm and pull me away behind the tents.
"HEY! I try telling, but the mysterious figure covers my mouth
"Hey! Hey, calm down" the voice sounds familiar
"It's-" I cut her off by saying
"OMG Zendaya!" I hug her "you scared me to death."
"I'm sorry, but I just needed to tell you something in private" she whispers
"Ya sure. What is it?" I ask
"Well i just wanted to say that...." she pauses dramatically "you had a crush on Tom!" She says enthusiastically
I froze because she was right, but I didn't want to tell her yet so I tried to say
"Uh- um, no. No I don't! H- he- he's just my best f-friend." I stutter
"Oh come on y/n, it's so obvious!"
I tried thinking of an excuse
"We're j-just Friends zen!"
Sorry guys Ik I suck at posting, AND NOW FRICKEN SCHOOLS STARTING!! Ughhh! Ya so I'm just sorry and for this short chapter, I just wanted to post soooo ya. OH! Also I'm gonna be writing a new story with my friend so, ya! Lub u guys, see you next time👋✌️💜
