After signing with Midtown, Star wanted to go out for drinks. But, Alex declined because she's pregnant, so Star and Simone went out. Alex was over at Carlotta's, sitting outside. Since Derek wasn't home, she didn't wanna be at the house by herself.
- Whatcha Doing out here by yourself. Where's Star and Simone, Cotton asked as she sat next to Alex.
- They went out to celebrate us signing to Midtown, she replied.
- Why you ain't went? You love drinking, I heard.
- Bitch I- I know you see this baby bump, Alex replied, pointing at her stomach.
- Girl my bad, that ain't stopped you from getting some d, she said jokingly.
- Girl bye, Alex replied while the two laughed.
Cotton pulled out a joint & lit it up. She moved a chair down from Alex so she wouldn't be a second hand smoker.
- So, how's life going so far, Alex asked Cotton.
- Girl I have sum to tell ya. But you can't tell anybody, especially my damn mama cause she's gonna start tripping: BIG TIME.
- Okay, spill it.
- So, I have a son.
- W- wait! Come again?
- I have a son.
- Wait! You're. . . Ohhhhh.
- Yes, Derek ain't Tell you.
- No. But how?
- So, when I was, you Know, I was going with this girl name Keisha & she came to the house 3 days ago saying I got a son name Jayden. Now I gotta try and see how imma tell my son his dad's gone.
Alex was about to sit next to Cotton, but she still had the joint in her hand. Puffing smoke through her mouth and nose.
- You Done, Alex asked.
- Yeah Girl. You can sit by me now.
Alex sat next to Cott, grabbed her hand, & told her:
- I know how you feel. It's gonna be hard breaking news to your son that his dad's gone. Also, I know it's gonna be hard breaking it to your mother and everyone else. But, trust me, once you let it all off your chest, you'll feel so much better.
- GIRLL, I never thought your boujee ass can give some good advice, she said laughing.
- Well, Once y'all get to know me, y'all know I can be good hearted.
- But, thanks girl. I appreciate it.
The two hugged for a second. They heard the back door closed and heard someone said:
- Where's my babymama? I know she's here.
They both know who that was: STARLETTA. They got up and went inside and saw Simone in the fridge and Star laid out on the couch, exhausted as hell.
- I guess all that partying got you tired, Alex teased.
- Don't act like you wouldn't be if you weren't pregnant, the blonde replied in between breaths.
Before Alex could say something, her phone flashed and vibrated. She saw that it was a text from Derek.
- Husband🥵: Just checkin on ya! You left me on delivered, I see😭. Don't worry, I'll be back before ya know it. Love ya❤️.
She was hesitant to text him back because her plans with him were ruined. But, she knew she couldn't stay mad at him for long cause he's gonna call and text until she answers. After 5 minutes of stalling, she finally texted him back:
- I love you too💕. Sorry I didn't text back.
- Husband🥵: Call me when you get a chance.
She was smiling at the phone until Simone interrupted her.
- Why you smiling so hard Over There? You bet not be cheating on Derek, she asked as she sat down next to her sister.
- No, I finally texted him back. He wants me to call him when I get a chance, she replied.
They heard a loud snore coming from somebody. They looked to see the blonde laying back, sleep and snoring.
- Well, lemme get this girl to bed, Simone said as she tapped her sister repeatedly on the arm.
The blonde woke up from her "quick nap." She looked around like she was crazy.
- I went to sleep, she asked them.
- Yeah, And you were snoring, Alex replied.
- I don't snore.
- Eh shit, You was just now, Simone added.
- Well, it's getting late anyways so, I'm finna head home, Alex told them.
She gave them a hug and then flipped off Star after she said a slick comment. When Alex entered the house, she took her shower, did her  nightly facial routine, and slipped into her favorite nightshirt and shorts. She grabbed her phone and headed into the kitchen to find her a late night snack. They really didn't have no more snacks since Alex was pregnant and had cravings.
"I gotta go to the store in the morning," she said to herself.
After finding some Oreos and pouring her a glass of Minute Maid, she grabbed her phone and snack and headed into the living room. She turned on the TV and started to flip through Netflix. She finally found a good movie to watch and started to binge it. She then unlocked her phone, went to her FaceTime log, and called Derek. He finally answered after 4 rings.
- Hey babe, he said.
- Hey Baby. How's Ms. Ruby?
- She's Doing alright. We have to go to the attorney tomorrow and then we coming on home. How's our bundle of joy?
- She's doing alright, she replied as she showed Derek her stomach.
- How do you know it's a girl for sure, he said with a smirk.
- Because I know it's a girl.
- Yeah, whatever. So, what did you did today?
- Well, me and the girls signed to Midtown Sound today and basically that was it.
- Congrats babe. I'm proud of y'all three. Y'all came a long way to get to where y'all are now.
- Thanks. It was tough, but we managed to make it.
- But, I have to get up early in the morning so we can go to the attorney tomorrow. So, I'll talk to you tomorrow. Love you and kiss our baby goodnight.
- Goodnight And Love you Too and I will.
After hanging up for Derek, Alex checked her phone and see she has 3 text messages and 15 missed calls from Star.
- Starletta🤪: CALL ME BACK!!!!
- Starletta🤪: ITS AN EMERGENCY!!
- Starletta🤪: HURRY UP!!!!
She clicked on Star's name and the phone started to ring. Star picked up after one ring.
- Hello, Alex said nonchalantly.
- ALEX!!! ITS SIMONE! SHE'S MISSING!
- WHAT! WAIT! WHAT HAPPENED?!
- I don't know. After you left, me and Simone had a huge ass argument and I said something that I regret.
- What did you say Star?
- I told her "Mama was planning on aborting you anyways." After I Said that, she stormed out and I thought she was outside, but she wasn't and she isn't in the house either.
- Damn It, Star. You know both of y'all are crazy when someone says anything concerning your mother.
- I know Alex, I know. I wish- I wish I shouldn't have said it now, Star said as she started to break down.
- Star, Dont Cry Because you know when one cry, all of us cry.
- I cant help it, Lex. I just need Mo Mo back now.
- Ok, Star, we have to look for her in the morning because I have to get some sleep right now.
- Ok.
Alex was about to hang up but then Star said:
- Lex?
- Huh Starletta?
- I love you girl.
- I love you too girly. Goodnight.
- Goodnight.
Alex hung up the phone, placed her cup in the sink, went to her room to grab her blanket and pillow. She placed the pillow behind her head and the blanket across her body. All Alex could think about while going to sleep was knowing where Simone was and is she safe at the moment. She continued to watch the movie until she dozed off to sleep.
