I curled in the corner of the room crying. This can't be happening. Why would my dad do this to me.
I jumped as a male walked in. "Hello," he said. "You must be Izzy."
I nodded. "Can you sit at the table with me?" He asked.
"No," I said.
"Please," he sighed.
"No," I said once again.
He sighs at it. "Please this is the last time I'll ask you before I force you," he said.
"Why can't I stay here," I asked my eyes wide.
"Because you can't... now are you going to cooperate or do I have to drag you over here," he said.
I shook my head standing shakily. I slowly walked over to the chair sitting.
"I'll be doing your intake," he said. "Then a nurse will come in and check you," he said.
I nodded.
"How old are you?" He asked.
"F-fourteen," I whispered.
"When is your birthday?" He asked.
"J-july 18th, 2004," I whispered.
He nodded.
"Top 3 fears?" He asked.
"Being here, being abandoned, dying," Tears in my eyes.
"Favorite activity?" He asked.
"Writing. Art. Playing piano. Singing," My hands trembled.
"Favorite person?" He asked.
"My... my mom," tears fell, my voice broke.
"Do they really not want me anymore?" I asked.
"No they dont," he said. "They don't want you anymore. That's why you're here. You belong to us now. You're our property."
"Property? I'm a human being. A person. Not property," I said.
"Thats not how it works here," he sighs. "To us, youre just test subjects," he said.
I placed my head against the table feeling ill.
He sighs at it.
"Are you going to kill me?" I asked.
"Eventually everyone dies in one of the experiments. So yes you will die. And it'll be with great purpose so know you're helping us," he said.
I stood up. "I'm not doing this. I'm leaving," I said.
"No you're not. Now sit Izzy," he said.
"Hell no," I said.
"Sit," he said.
"No," I said.
"Last chance," he said.
"No," I made a growl sound at him.
He sighs and presses a button. A large man came in forcing me in the chair holding my shoulders down. I kicked trying to get away as they restrained me.
I cried out when they let me go thrashing against the restraints. "Youre not going anywhere Izzy. Ever. You're going to spend the rest of your life here," he said touching my cheek.
"No. No," I said and winced my eyes closed.
He sighs at it. "You're not going anywhere Izzy face it," he said.
