I woke up with a gasp. I remembered last night instantly. Charlie was over by Natasha. She was still sleeping.

"Is she okay?" I asked.

"Im not allowed to say," he sighs.

I looked at him as if he was an idiot.

"It breaks confidentiality," he said.

"Seriously Charlie how many rules did you break for me?" I asked. "So is she fine?"

He lowered his voice "Yes. She woke a few hours ago. Shes in a lot of pain so the pain medications are making her sleep. She was a bit confused and disoriented. She had a CT scan this morning and there was no bleeding. She struggles to find words but Ashley said it will take awhile for her to fully be herself again. Her heart and blood pressure are back to normal. She will be okay Izzy," he said.

I nodded and sighed. "Good," I said and relaxed some.

Natashas eyes slowly opened. I stood and moved to her instantly.

"How are you feeling?" I asked touching her hand.

It took her a moment to respond as if she was having trouble finding words. "Yes... I think... my head hurts... alot," she said slowly. She still had the Iv in her hand and fluids were still running. She tried to sit up but was weak. Charlie helped her sit and I sat by her letting her rest on me.

"Are you hungry at all?" Charlie asked.

"No. Just really nauseous," I whispered. "Really..." her cheeks turned very pale.

Charlie quickly got a basin. I grabbed it from him and held it infront of Natasha. She gagged once before the contents of her stomach came out. Charlie held back her hair as she continued to puke for the next several minutes. Charlie took the basin and set it down.

She leaned against me tears in her eyes. "Its okay Natasha. Just rest," I said and rubbed her shoulder.

"My head hurts so so bad," tears fell.

Charlie moved over to the desk that was there and the alignment of bottles of medicine. He went over grabbing a new syringe filling it up. I looked at it and it was labeled Morphine. The next one he drew up I couldnt see the name the letters were to tiny.

He removed the needle from the syringe and twisted it placing it in the IV. "That will help with pain," he said. "And this for nausea," he said.

"Thank you," she whispered and closed her eyes. I let her rest on me she tried to grab onto my hand but she was really weak. I gripped onto her hand. "Im not going anywhere," I said.

"Thank you," she whispered and held onto my hand as tightly as she could. Her gripped loosened once she fell back asleep.

I looked at Charlie then taking a deep breath. "Why would they do that to her. She could've died," I said.

"Izzy, they dont care if she died. Everyone here is easily replaceable," he looked down.

"Its not fair. She didn't do anything to deserve this?" I looked at him.

"I know, no one deserves it but they dont see it that way," he said.

"But its still not fair," I said. "Look at her. She cant sit up on her own. Will she even recover from this?"

"Ashley thinks so. Its just going to be a long healing time.

"Does he have any more plans with her while she is in this condition?" I asked.

"Hes giving it three weeks," he said.

"And what is Ashley's prediction?"

"6-12 weeks," he said quietly.
