One

"NO DAD!" I screamed kicking as my father dragged me out of bed.

"It's to late. I don't want you anymore. I regret adopting you," he growled at me.

"No daddy I wanna stay. Please. I love you," I cried out as he grabbed my arm pulling me down to the car.

"Where are you taking me dad!" I cried.

"Stop calling me that. I'm not your father anymore," he growled in my ear. It sent chills down my spine.

"MOM!" I screamed loudly. "Don't let him take me away!" I screamed.

"Shut up Izzy. No one wants you," he said growling throwing me against the wall. I let out a whimper as I hit my head hard.

Demetri came running hearing my scream. "Aro What's going on?" He said rushing to help me.

"Get out of my way Demetri," Aro said.

"No whats going on," he said harshly touching my head where it was bleeding.

"Im taking her away. Far far away. She doesn't belong here. She never belonged here," he said.

"Please don't Aro please I beg of you," he said pleading.

"Its to late I already made arrangements. Now bring her to me," he said.

"She's my mate please, I cant. Don't take her away," Demetri plead tears in his eyes holding me close to his chest.

"No," Aro growled. "She's going away. Bring her here now,"

"No," Demetri growled. "I'll keep her as a pet if necessary. I'm not losing my mate. You take her away I leave the Volturi," he said.

He growled loudly at Demetri going over grabbing him by the throat throwing him across the room.

"No no," Demetri said gasping trying to get to me as I let out a scream in pain when he grabbed me by the hair dragging me across the floor. "DEMETRI HELP," I screamed.

Demetri stood tackling Aro to the ground.

"FELIX!" Aro screamed.

"IZZY RUN!" Demetri yelled at me.

My heart raced as I took off in a fast sprint running down the hall, down the spiral staircase as fast as I could.

Felix was waiting at the bottom catching me. "Let me go Felix please let me go. I don't wanna leave. I don't wanna leave," I cried struggling against him.

Aro's voice came from upstairs. "Take her to the car. Restrain her. Make sure she goes no where."

"Yes Aro," Felix said throwing me over his shoulder like I was a feather. He spead to the garage and threw me into the back seat coming in resteaining me to the seat. "Stay," he said slamming the door.

"HELP! HELP!" I screamed loudly.

No one came. Not even Jane who was a sister to me. Did no one care?

"HELP ME JANE... DEMETRI!! ALEC!!!" I screamed.

"No one is coming for you Izzy," Felix sighs. "Now be quiet before I put tape over your mouth," he said.

"Let me go you fucking asshole," I screamed.

He sighs grabbing ducktape from the shelf opening the car door pinning me placing duck tape over my mouth. I tried to let out a blood curdling scream but it was all muffled.

Aro finally came down. "Felix go punish Demetri," he said and got in the car with me. "Finally you will shut up," he said.

I kicked the back of his seat hard.

He turned around quicker than my eye could follow. I felt a burning across my cheek. He hit me. My father hit me. He's never ever hit me before. Why. What did I do to deserve this.

Tears surfaced as I started crying.

"Can you just be quiet. You're not escaping this. Just take it in. I don't love you and I never did," he said and opened the garage door taking off.

My heart shattered. This can't be real. It's just a dream. It's just a dream. I'm gonna wake up any minute now and mommy is going to be holding me and dads right by my side. Tears began to come faster and harder.

"Thats a girl. If I take the tape off your mouth will you scream?" He asked.

I shook my head no.

"Good girl," he sighs and took it off.

"Why are you doing this. I love you dad," fear in my voice.

"Because you don't belong here. I don't love you. This whole thing. Me adopting a human was a complete mistake," he sighs. His voice much calmer now.

"Where are you taking me?" I asked. "Are you going to kill me?"

"No, I wont kill you. That'll break my wife's heart. She still loves you. But you just cant stay Izzy," he said.

"Where are you taking me?" I asked.

"A vampire research center," he sighs

"Will they hurt me?" I asked.

"I don't know," he said. "They will experiment on you, test the human limits."

"Will I die?" My cheeks grew pale.

"Yes," he paused.

My heart sunk into my stomach. I think I'm going to be sick.

"But my wife won't know that. It's our little secret," he said chuckling.

"Im dreaming. Im dreaming," I whispered to myself over and over again.

"No you're not Izzy. You're not dreaming," he said.

I rocked myself back and forth, well as much as I could since I was restrained.

"Please don't do this to me dad," I whispered. "Give me one more chance," I looked up with big eyes.

"No Izzy," he said and pulled up to a large building. "Now are you going to fight me or are you going to walk in with me," he said.

I didn't respond.

"You have 3 seconds to answer before I drag you in," he said.

"I'll walk," I whispered my voice breaking.

He sighs and got out unrestraining arms pulling me out of the car. He held onto my upper arm to make sure I didnt run. I walked with him into the building. There was a lady at the front desk.

"Which one is this?" She asked looking at me.

"Izzy Peirson," he said.

I flinced. He used my old last name.

"Ahh yes," he said. "Come," she said standing coming over to me.

I froze in my place.

"I said come," she sighs. "Don't make this harder than it needs to be," she said.

It took me several minutes to take a step towards her. "Thats a good girl," she said and led her me to a back room. There was a table and two chairs. There was also an examination table. "Are you going to behave or do I need to-"

"I'll behave," I said immediately.

"Now sit someone will be in here shortly to to do your intake an an exam," she said pointing at the chair.

I nodded moving to the chair. I sat in it. As soon as she left I stood and moved to the corner curling up in a small ball crying into my knees.

This is not a dream.
