Now, when someone comes up behind you and says such an ominous sentence, the instinct is fight or flight. To try and attack the person who seems to be intruding, or to flee from the scene. However, there is a third response, freeze. To not fight or flee, but to pause, and to not respond. To freeze in place.

Freezing was not the reaction Damian wanted to have. He wanted to fight when the voice filled his ear, but that's not what happened. No, it felt like his blood turned to ice water and prohibited him from moving; whether that was to fight or flee.

The feeling of...fear?

Damian kicked his foot on the ground and spun around...but there was no one there, and the eerie silence seemed to be filled with the sound of static glitching out of beat to the ticking of a clock.

Tick tock
Tick tock
Tick...tock

There seemed to be no one there..though the noise was ear shattering. Damian rubbed his eyes and shook his head, looking down the hallway to see the door now wide open, as though the gates of hell themselves had opened.

There was a voice...a temptation, a lure in Darks ear that beckoned him, telling him to go to the door. Like a pirate to a siren's call, he slowly followed the melody..what did it hold for him? What was in the room...

[Y/n's POV]

I looked at the strange male then at the more familiar one. The new doctor didnt seem very hostile...and it seemed like he and the other were having a civil conversation...so did they really have anything to fear? The strange doctor grew closer and eventually sat on the bed next to [y/n], seeming a but sympathetic. The Male began to speak but was interrupted by a pounding at the door. This startled the child, and brought them to look around for the one who had taken care of them...alas, he was not in the room..and that frightened [y/n]...

The strange doctor scoffed and rolled his eyes, waving a dismissive hand. He wasnt going to let the demon in, he thought he made that clear earlier. Either way, the Male turned his gaze to the child and started to speak in a weird accent that [y/n] found a bit odd but funny to listen to.

Henry: "I'm vere to 'elp you. Dark said you 'ave something going on in here- the doctor tapped his temple for a moment- and vhat Erik cannot veal..some sort of...tramau"

The doctor explained this as though it was simple and like [y/n] understood exactly what that meant..but they didnt...tramau? That didnt sound good..

Henry: "So, let's start simple..vhat happened?"
