As soon as you walked into the cafe, your eyes met with Taehyung's bright ones.

"Babe!! You're back!! You just couldn't get enough of me, could you?" He teased. The manager comes from the back, smacking the back of his neck, "Yah, leave the poor girl alone. You're always picking on her." He nagged to him, making you chuckle. The manager turns to you, "I'll fire him if you need me to."

"That won't be needed, sir." You said, chuckling in amusement. Taehyung noticed you laughing, making him join as well.

"She likes it when I do it," Taehyung smirks, facing his manager. He rolls his eyes, "If you keep this up, we're going to lose her as a customer."

You kept your smile on, feeling giddy. "Having me as a barista is the only reason she comes here." Taehyung confidently tells his manager. The manager scoffs, turning to you jokingly, "Can I have that statement denied or verified?"

"Denied." You sang. Taehyung's mouth gaped open, "How could you!"

You and the manager laugh together til he walked away to the back. Taehyung continues to sulk as you watched him.

"I'm not going to make your coffee anymore." He frowned.

"I didn't come here for coffee." You softly said, smiling. Your heart raced, nervous at what you were about to ask.

"I knew you came here for me!" He exclaimed. He turned back, "I told you, manager!" He yelled. You laugh, "You're such a kid."

He smiles, "So, what did you really come for?"

You shrug smugly, "You're right. I did come for you. Let's go on our second date when your shift is over." You said as you noticed his shocked face, "You're serious?!"

You giggle softly, nodding. "Yes!" He exclaimed, "My shift ends at 5:30 today." He said with a big grin on.

You nodded, "I'll be back at 5:30, then." You piped, walking away with a smirk on. You felt too good. You laughed to yourself when you walked out of the cafe while Taehyung's heart was about to burst.

It was 5:45 when you noticed what time it was. Your eyes widened. You quickly dressed up and headed out the door.

When you arrived there, the cafe was already closed with a lock on the door. You looked around, and you didn't see Taehyung. You lightly gasped to yourself.

You sighed, about to walk back home when you bumped into someone's chest immediately as you turned around. You loudly gasped, stepping back. You looked up to see Taehyung in his regular attire.

"Oh— you scared me." You breathed out, putting a hand to your chest.

"Did you forget me?" He asked, almost sulking.

You bit your lip. He sighed, closing his eyes. He turned his heel and walked the other way. You ran up to him, "I'm sorry! I didn't realize the time." You defended, holding his arm back from walking. He chuckled, "I was kidding. I knew you were obsessed with me." He cockily states, running his fingers through his hair.

You playfully glared at him, "As if. Look who's talking." You retorted, crossing your arms. He smiles, "You're right. Anyway, where are we going?"

"Let's walk across the bridge. I heard it's going to light up in purple today."
