Taehyung-Video Games

I was in the living room with Taehyung. I was working while he was playing games.

"Yah, can you lower that?" I ask.

No response. "Taehyung!" I yell.

"Mm?" He asked, while his eyes were focused to the screen. He was like a kid. Playing video games all day.

"Can you lower that? I'm trying to work." I repeated.

"Mhm..." he answered. I knew he wasn't listening to me.

"Tssh, are video games more important than me?" I ask, looking at my work.

"Yessss." He answered looking at me with a cheeky smile.

I narrowed my eyes at him and he grinned really big at my reaction. I sighed and get back to work. He turned his video games off and came to me.

"Of course you're more important. You're more important than anything in the whole wide world." He cooed with a baby voice."

"Quit it." I say.

He giggled. I was sitting on a chair in front of my laptop when I felt him back hugging me with his chin on my head.

"Tae, I need to work."

"Why are you always workingggg." He groaned.

"I never get to spend time with you." He whined.

I ignored him because of before when he ignored me.

"Wowww, is work more important than me now?" He asked while nuzzling into my neck.

"Yesss." I mocked him.

"Hmph." Then he removed his arms and went back to the couch. I saw in the corner of my eye that he was pouting at me.

I glanced at him a couple times and he was still pouting at me.

I sighed. "What do you want?"

"Say work is not more important than me and come here." He patted the seat next to him.

I left my work and walked over to the couch before plopping myself. Then his arm slings around me, bringing me closer.

"Of course you're more important. You're more important than anything in the whole wide world." I mocked, remembering each word.

He chuckled and handed me a controller.

"Play with me?" He asked.

I caved and we started playing for a long time. I didn't realize we played for 3 hours straight until I looked at the clock. Shit! My work!

I gasped when I look at the time. Then I walked away quickly to go to my laptop to finish my work.

"Y/N~" Taehyung whined.

"Why'd you leave in the middle of the gameeeee." I heard him whine again.

I ignored everything because I needed to finish my work. I heard him sigh.

Then he turned off the game and walked over to me to give me a massage.

"Stop." I say.

"Why? Aren't you tired?" He asked.

"Yeah, but I'm getting distracted and I need this done when I go to work tomorrow." I answer.

"Take the day off tomorrow and come back." He whined. He was starting to annoy me a little.

"What?! No! I am not missing a day of work just for you." I say, a little irritated.

He sighed defeated. He went up the stairs before mumbling "I just wanted to spend time with you."

Even though he mumbled it quietly, I heard him. I sighed quietly, feeling guilty. I haven't been giving him much attention lately and it's all due to the stress from work. I haven't been able to finish my work until late at night. By then, he's sleeping. I work for a little more, about 10 minutes. Then I caved.

Ugh. Fine I'll take the day off for him.

After calling my boss to take the day off, he sounded a a little mad, but since I've been working so hard, he allowed me to. I sighed in relief.

I closed my laptop and put everything away. I had a feeling he was sulking upstairs so I decided to make it up to him with movies and video games. I made a bowl of popcorn, gathered 2 controllers, a game, and a movie.

I went upstairs to our shared bedroom to see him laying down with headphones on, with his eyes closed. He probably couldn't hear me walk in. I walk closer to him with the popcorn in one hand and everything else in the other. I raised my knee and nudged his leg. His head raised up and his eyes opened. He slowly opened them and removed his headphones to turn his music off.

"Why are you here? Shouldn't you be finishing your work?" He said, frowning at me, making me feel guiltier than before.

"Tae, don't be like that." I pouted.

He kept staring at me and I saw him trying to hide a smile when he saw the things in my hand.

I broke into a small smile. He turned away smiling before throwing his face into his hands. "Ughhh why can't I ever stay mad at you for once." He groaned. A smile spread across my face.

We set up everything and waited for the game to load. I took this chance to apologize and to tell him I was going to take the day off.

"Tae?"

"Mm?" He turned his head at me.

"I'm sorry if I haven't been spending a lot of time with you. It's just my work and-"

"Shh okay I got it. Just spend time with me as much as you can." He said, grinning at his last words.

I scoffed while chuckling. "Also..." I continued.

"Hm?" He turned his head back to me again.

"I took tomorrow off for you." I said while smiling a little.

His eyebrows raised sightly and his eyes widened a little. He broke into a smile.

"Really?! For me???! Really??!!!!" He asked, while looking into my eyes. I saw pure excitement in them.

I nodded while smiling back at him.

"YAY!! Tomorrow we're gonna go out. We're going to go out for breakfast, then the arcade, then movies, then possibly-"

"Don't get your hopes too high." I cut him off while chuckling.

He then attacked me with his arms, hugging me ever so tightly.

I chuckled while hugging him back.

"Taeee the game is starting." I say.

He released and stole a peck from my lips.

I blushed slightly. Then, we played video games until we felt tired. When we did feel tired, we put on a movie. During halfway the movie, we fall asleep in each other's arms, excited for tomorrow.
