We were walking in the park, taking a stroll at night, with the street lights dimming. Jungkook held my hand as we walked down the long path.

"Aerum?" He called.

"Hm?"

"Do you know what tomorrow is?" He asked.

I chuckled, "Our 5th year anniversary."

"Ah, great hearing it. We've been dating for 5 years! Woooo." He shouted.

"Shh! It's late and people are sleeping!"

He snickered, "The whole world needs to know."

"What time is it?" I asked.

"Uhhh 11:54 PM."

"Wow almost our anniversary." I replied.

He forced out a chuckle, "Yeah."

Suddenly, his hands started to turn cold.

"Jungkook?" I called, concerned.

"Yes?"

"Are you cold?"

"No."

"Why is-"

"My hands sometimes do that," He shakily let out.

"O-okay. Just making sure you're alright."

After a few minutes of walking, it was 11:59PM.

"One more minute!!" I squealed.

"Y-yeah." Jungkook stuttered. His stomach did turns and flips, reiterating the plan in his mind. Saying he was very nervous was an understatement.

"Woo! 12 AM! Happy 5th anniversary Jungkooooookieeeee." I squealed, letting go of his hand to put them on his shoulder. I tiptoed, giving him a kiss.

His hands instinctively went on my waist, kissing me back. Just the two of us, in the park, alone.

I pulled away, smiling. Jungkook broke into cold sweat. Can he do it?

"Yeah. Happy 5th."  He smiled back.

"Alright let's-"

He suddenly went on one knee. As soon as he did that, I felt my heart dropping to my stomach. No...

He took out a red velvet small box, and I could already tell where this was going. Tears started to form in the corner of my eyes, "No.." I breathed out.

He fumbled to get the box open, and when he finally did, he let out a nervous chuckle. There it was, the beautiful, shining, ring. He took my hand.

"Lee A-Aerum, you make me feel so happy at every moment we are together. You make me laugh, and smile harder than ever. You're the best person ever. That's the only way I could put it. You bring life into me. The past 5 years were a great rollercoaster and I'm so glad I was able to ride with you and go through everything with you. I'm so grateful that I met you. I thank fate for bringing us together. I love you so much, Aerum. Now, will you make my smile even bigger and well, m-marry me?"

I couldn't even speak. I just started crying and putting a hand over my face, taking all of his words. Only my soft sobs were heard and Jungkook started to laugh softly at me. I nodded, unable to speak. He took my hand and slid the ring onto my finger. He got up, smiling and I was still crying with a hand over my face.
