I can't believe my eyes. My fears were true. Malia is laying on a gurney with blood in her curls. I'm sitting in the ambulance with Malia in tears and next to Kaylee who is also in tears. She's the one who found her first. I'm holding Malia's hand while tears run down my face. Can't people watch the road and watch out? Now other people have to pay for it, people like Malia. Kaylee was crying loudly in my ears while leaning on me. "Why?" she mumbled through her tears. "People are idiots" I say. Kaylee starts laughing a little then stops and continues to cry. I close my eyes and sit in silence. The ambulance turns and Kaylee falls in the ground. "Ow" she mumbles while crying. "Here, grab my hand" I say and hold out my hand. "Thanks." She says lightly as I pulled her up back on the seat next to me.

Soon enough we were at the hospital and the doctors rush Malia into the opperating room. "Stay out here and wait" the doctor said to us and gestured to the chairs outside the room. I stood there and said nothing. "Ok" Kaylee said quietly. She sat down and patted the seat next to her. "Sit down" she said in a whisper. I didn't sit down, I just stood there in the middle hall and looked at the doors. She got up and faced me. "You can't stand up and look at the doors forever. Come on sit down." Kaylee says. I look down at her and see tears roll down her face. "Kaylee your bestfriend just get hit by a car and your worried about me sitting down?" I say with a little anger in my voice. "I'm crazy concerned about my bestfriend and that her boyfriend is being an idiot." she said with a serious look on her face with tears still rolling down her face. "Sit down." she said after a few seconds. I felt like I had no choice but to sit down so I did, I sat down next to Kaylee. "I'm not being an idiot, you know that right?" I said. "You're an idiot." Kaylee said.
