Chapter 24

<Devon>

It's been almost an hour since I was rushed down to the ER wing if the hospital for my mom. She has just had her baby but I haven't gotten into the room yet. Wonder what's going on? "Devon, you can come in now. We need your help with something." Aunt Kelly said, sticking her head out the door. "Ok." I said and walked in.

I saw my mom sitting in a hospital bed, cradling a baby wrapped in a pink blanket, with my dad next to her, cradling another baby with a pink blanket too. Its twin girls! "We need your help on their names" my mom said looking up at me, smiling. "Do you guys have some names to choose from?" I asked. "Cat, Caroline, Georgia, and Lilly." My dad said looking at the baby. "I like Cat and Caroline." I said smiling. My mom looked at the baby. "Cat," she said, liking at the baby in her hands and then at the one in Dad's hands "Caroline," then nodded "I like it" "Cat and Caroline, it is!" Aunt Kelly said with a cheer. Dad wrote down the names on the sheet. "Middle names?" He asked to no one specifically. "Cat Blare Williams and Caroline Rose Williams" I said nodding and smiling. "Perfect!" My Aunt cheered. My dad wrote the names down and smiled. "You'll be great at naming your kids, when you're older, Devon!" My mom said and Dad agreed. I smiled and nodded "I should go back down to the ICU now." I said an walked out the door.

Once I got down there, I saw a lot of Malia's family in the waiting room. I sat down, alone, in a row of chairs. I bowed my head and sat till someone came back from seeing Malia.
