Chapter 12

I got a text from Kaylee saying Malia got hit by a car and was being rushed to the hospital. "OMG. How badly hurt was she?" I text back. "Idk I'm not a doctor" she replies. "Lol" I text back.  "What is so funny?!?! My best friend just got hit a car and your laughing" She responds with anger. "Nothing, just what you said was funny." I respond. "Don't laugh" she responds. "Ok, sorry. What hospital are you at?" I respond. "The one in town." She responds. "Ok I'll be there in a few" I respond and pocketed my phone while grabbing my keys out.

 I hopped in my car, started the ignition, and went to the hospital in town. It wasn't to far away from the party so I got there pretty fast. I met Kaylee and Mikey by some doors. As soon as Kaylee saw me, she ran over to me and hugged me. I hugged back. "Are you ok?" I whisper in her ear. "Yea, I'm fine. I just hope Malia is" She whispers back. She lets go and sits down and I sit down next to her. She then lays her head on my shoulder and closes her eyes.

After about 3 hours the doctor comes out and I nudge Kaylee she opens her eyes and jerks her head off my shoulder and opens her eyes wide. "What?" She says seeming scared. "Little update about your friend, Malia" The doctor says. "Continue" Kaylee says looking like she was awake the whole time.
