" So, let me get this straight, emo marching band. "

" Watch it, Princey... "

Thomas watched on as Virgil and Roman went back and forth, arguing and groaning and progressively getting angrier at eachother. He sighed.

Ever since Remus appeared, everyone had been on edge. Virgil spilt the beans, confessing that he too had been a dark side, or 'the other ones', as he called them.

" Guys, we should- " Thomas started, but Logan looked over at him with a glare.

" You knew about this, Thomas, let them be, they must get their angriest feelings out. We all know how they can get when their anger is bottled up. " Logan said, Patton nodding in agreement.

He sighed. He just wanted them to listen, dammit. Why was it so hard for them to just listen?

Thomas started to feel dizzy. He couldn't see straight. Everyone was focused on Virgil, and he felt sick.

The sides were gone, replaced with a fuzzy green and red haze.

" Wow,  Thomas. They've started to ignore you now! "

What is this? The other sides are gone, and this is the only voice he can hear. What happened to Virgil, and Roman? Patton and Logan? Hell, Deceit or Remus would be better than this. The feeling in his stomach was making him so uncomfortable, he felt like he could puke.

" My poor doll. Being ignored sucks. You want their attention, you envy the attention Virgil is getting. You want the spotlight, don't you? "

" What...? " Thomas said quietly.

" Let me help you block them out.
Let me in, Thomas.
And I can help create a world all about you.
You just have to let me go free in your mind.
Don't keep me locked in anymore.
Let me out. " The voice chuckled.

" I mean, after all, Envy is one of your best attributes, isn't it?~ Hahahahaha... "

Thomas looked down.

" I don't want their attention. But I want them to listen. "

" Good, good. "

" Okay. What's your name? "

The haze chuckled deviously.

" Thana is my name.

Just once.

Say it just once.

I want to see their reactions once they realized they forgot us. "

He blinked, and was snapped back to reality. He looked down, contemplating his options. He took a deep breath, looking up.

" Thana...? "

Virgil's head snapped up. " What do you think you're doing, saying that name!? "

A girl popped up from beside Thomas, a hand on his shoulder. Her hair was brown, about down to her elbows. She had hazel eyes, like the sides, and was wearing a long red dress with a giant green bow on her chest, and on the waist. She had black lace gloves on.

" Don't worry, my doll. I can handle this. "

" Who is that?! " Roman called.

" No one important. " Virgil said, gritting his teeth as he stared at the female.

She took a bow.

" I'm a side, just like you. You can't ignore me forever. After all, I'm always here.  "
