James' POV
'How did I find myself here?'
I'm currently pacing behind the front door, indenting the floors with my anxiety.
I look down at my outfit for the tenth time since I was forced to put it on by my satanic friends. A cropped hoodie and tight pants that showed off more than I originally thought I had.
'At least I got out of the 'ass out' shorts'
In all honesty Cass tried to dress me in little to no clothing, the cropped jacket wasn't the first option. Usually I'm down for a little cleavage showing but that was before I had nothing to lose.
I refuse to let my soulmate take a look at my nipples without his consent and a full disclosure warning beforehand.
"Fuck, how did this happen." I mumble as I look at the door once more with apprehension and uncontrollable excitement.
Grayson slid into my DMs a couple days prior and we talked, excessively. Texting with the twin was an adventure within itself that I completely enjoyed. It was so easy to get lost in the conversations once I got over the fact that Grayson indeed kept his word and initiated communication.
I got so comfortable, maybe that's why it was so easy to agree wholeheartedly to his collab suggestion.
Collaborating with my soulmate for YouTube entertainment, fun.
'I'm so gonna get attacked by all the Dolan obsessed fan girls, scary if we're being completely honest'
God, I'm gonna have to look into those eyes again, it was so much easier talking when it wasn't face to face.
Fuck, not only are we talking face to face, the makeup he suggested requires a shirtless Grayson. A fucking shirtless Grayson.
'I'm not okay'
*Ding Dong*
I look at the door with wide eyes, my anxiety preventing me from walking over immediately after hearing the ring.
"Ok ok ok ok ok.." One jump and a shake of my head signifying my determination is the push I need to walk to the door.
Two identical, but slightly different, smirks greet my eyes once I open the door.
"Uh, welcome sisters." I'm crying inside, what the fuck.
Ethan is the first one to answer, his smirk forming into a small smile.
"Cool, already achieved sister status.""It's an easy achievement." With a shrug I move out the way allowing them entrance.
Ethan's the first to walk through, phone already in hand.
I turn back when I realize Grayson didn't follow.
'Holy-'
I finally look into his eyes and the connection throbs. It had become less overbearing for the past few days. Most likely because of the constant distance between us, usually right after an encounter the two mates rarely go a day without seeing each other, at least for a couple of weeks. Staying together strengthens the bond.
I hide the effect of it all but I know he can tell I feel something. I know I can at least see it in his eyes, in his stance. Slightly caved in, eyes a small inch wider than seconds before.
I can feel it now—I can feel it so clearly. He's nervous but happy, excited. Thankfully it's nothing too bad.
"W-well are you gonna come in..?"
