James' POV

"Wake up hoe!"

I yelp and reach my arms out, trying and failing to find purchase on my bed sheets as my ass graciously hits the floor.

"Cassie? What the hell!"

"It is exactly 12pm, its time to get up and get ready sister."

I throw the sheets that were dragged to the floor with me back on the bed and look at Cassie with an expression that could kill.

"Don't give me that look, you know it takes you 3 hours to get ready on a regular day."

"That doesn't give you permission to scream in my ear and scare me half to death." With one last look of disgust I get up from the floor and walk in the direction of my bathroom.

"Don't be a grumpy puppy." I can faintly hear the sounds of Cassie barking as I close the door behind.

"Ugh fuck me." I groggily wipe my face as I look into the mirror of my bathroom.

The black ink embedded in my skin catches my attention, its all I've been able to think about since it appeared on my birthday.

'Wait, you're a guy?'

'Yeah I'm a fucking guy is that a problem? Well I don't care you're gonna love me anyway because you're my soulmate and we're supposed to love each other unconditionally, asshole.'

Once you identify your soulmate its supposed to be some sort of magical moment. When you say the words its like a trigger and you both just start feeling. An unbreakable connection forms which literally connects you emotionally and physically to that person, well according to my parents and Laura.

By the looks of it my soulmate encounter is gonna consist of disappointment , with a bit of awkwardness and anger mixed in as well. If I'm super lucky the guy may just look at me in utter disgust and walk away with his hurt heterosexual pride.

'Yay'

I quickly wipe the unshed tears from my eyes and look determinedly at my mirror.

'It's fine, I'm fine, Everything is fine'

"What the hell did I say?" I roll my eyes for the hundredth time as I look at Cassie.

"I don't know Cass, what did you say that was oh so important today?"

I fix my blonde wig and retouch on my makeup as we get closer to the venue. "It takes you forever to get ready. This event started 15 minutes ago and we are still not even there yet."

With a smirk I shrug my shoulders "When has there ever been anything wrong with showing up fashionably late."

This time it was Cassie rolling her eyes at me as we pulled up to the back of the venue. I could already hear some of my sisters screaming my name from the front entrance. Gosh I love them so much, sometimes my fans are my only source of sanity and that's the real tea.

"You look beautiful James." I turn towards Cassie and give her a huge smile at the praise.

"Thanks sister, I swear if more men thought like you I'd be married right now, or, at least engaged."

"Definitely, now go knock these bitches dead." with a high five and a wave, I was out the car and walking into the building.

Walking through the doors, I was met with bright lights and a variety of different colors. Looking down at my sparkly white dress I start to feel a little self-conscious of my plain colors but quickly shake the doubt away. I look beautiful and I have fans waiting to see me. I quickly make my way to my stand and am met with an all too pleasant surprise.
