James' POV
"Okay, a sister seriously needs to chill." I mumble this demand to myself as I sit on my bed. My phone lays quietly in front of me as I stare at it with apprehension.
I'm home alone, waiting for a text that may or may not actually be coming.
Grayson Dolan decided to follow and dm me yesterday and I have no idea what to think of it.
'Our sister soulmate even went for my snapchat'
I won't deny the small feeling that bloomed within my chest when he did text nor the small blush and smile that formed on my face when he asked for my number.
I won't deny the feelings that became more apparent once these things happened.
However that doesn't make anything any less terrifying.
Yeah, I had a tiny crush on Grayson before this whole soulmate thing came into play but that was like, I don't know, a simple crush. I never figured anything would come out of it. He's straight after all.
Now this little crush is turning into something slightly more serious and it's fucking terrifying because I don't know what he's trying to do here.
Why's this heterosexual male sliding into my DMs and asking for my number. Stay in your female infested lane before you do some damage on my already weak soul.
'Ok that was some good ranting James'
Grayson decided on his own accord that he would be texting me tomorrow night, meaning today's night, meaning some time in the near minutes or hours.
I open my phone to check the time.
8:49 pm
I groan helplessly as I run my hands through my hair.
"Jesus Christ, James Charles get your shit together."Why am I sitting here waiting for a text message? Who knows if he's gonna text me now anyway, it's not super late but it's getting there. He would've texted me by now.
'I'm so crazy about this guy, it's honestly insane'
Shaking my head, I take the phone into my hand.
"We're just gonna go to bed, or at least try, yep, yes that's exactly what we're gonna do."What we're not gonna do is wait like a loyal puppy for a text message that most likely isn't coming.
With that I make my way under the covers, leaving my naked shoulders out so I could still feel a little breeze under the warm blankets.
With my face half hidden in the covers I take a selfie on Snapchat, bidding my sisters goodnight.
When I'm done I set my phone on the charger and take a deep breath, the time that shows on my phone once I plug it in is 9:02pm.
Its definitely a little earlier than usual but it's best that I start going to bed at reasonable times.
I set my phone on the dresser and bury my face in soft pillows.
'I didn't realize it until my head hit the pillow but I'm surprisingly exhausted'
Ding ding*
