Surprised!

**the morning after. Chaeyoung went to Mina's place early in the morning. She wanted to explain what happened. But Mina doesn't want to talk to her. She's crying in her room while Chaeyoung shouts her name in front of her apartment.
Chaeyoung: please Mina. Let's talk about this.
**Chaeyoung stayed outside Mina's place the whole day. Until dinner came. Mina went outside to buy food.
Chaeyoung: hey can we talk please
Mina: I don't want to talk to you anymore
Chaeyoung: please.
**Mina went back inside her apartment. Instead of buying food. She decided to just call for delivery. Meanwhile Chaeyoung went to Nayeon's place crying.
Nayeon: first of all it was your fault
Chaeyoung: 😭 i know
Nayeon: second of all what were you thinking. You love Mina. You liked her since college.
Chaeyoung: what do i do.
Nayeon: I've told you this a thousand times before. Never play with a girls heart. When Dahyun cheated on you, you were devastated. That's why I tolerated you playing around back then. But this is serious Chaeyoung.
Chaeyoung: should I resign so that I wouldn't have to see Sana again?
Nayeon: you've worked hard for that job.
Chaeyoung: what do i do? Tell me. Mina is not talking to me anymore.
Jeongyeon: try talking to Sana. Tell her that you are in a serious relationship.
Nayeon: well technically they are not together anymore
Jeongyeon: Sana doesn't have to know that. Just tell her she needs to stop flirting with you because you love your girlfriend.
Chaeyoung: do you think that'll work.
Jeongyeon: at this moment. You have nothing to lose.
Nayeon: just keep in mind what is at stake here. Mina or Sana
Chaeyoung: Mina
Nayeon: then tell her that. Let her know that you and her will never happen because you're already taken.
Chaeyoung: thanks.
**the next day Chaeyoung was about to talk to Sana but unfortunately Sana took the week off because of personal reasons. Chaeyoung then decided to visit Mina in her class during break time.
Chaeyoung: hey I brought you coffee
Mina: thanks
Chaeyoung: how's your class
Chaeyoung: is it ok if I pick you up later after your class?
Chaeyoung: you wanna go to dinner together
Mina: why are you here? Tell me? Why are you really here?
Chaeyoung: i just wanna talk to you
Mina: why don't you go talk to your Sana.
Chaeyoung: she took a week off
Mina: so you mean to say. You just wanna talk to me because you girl is not available. Great. Bye Chaeyoung
Chaeyoung: that's not what I meant. Can you just give me a second to explain myself.
Mina: i have to go to class now. Bye
**Mina went to her class leaving Chaeyoung in the hallway. She wanted to talk to her also but she's hurting.
Chaeyoung: please
**a week went by so slow for Chaeyoung. Sana is now back in the office. Chaeyoung wanted to talk her but she's too busy with a new project.
Chaeyoung: can we talk later
Sana: yeah sure.
**after work a beautiful girl came by their office. Chaeyoung thought maybe it's one of her colleagues girlfriend.
Sana: hey babe you're here. Everyone I want you all to meet my fiancé. Park Jihyo.
Chaeyoung: what?!?
**everyone was surprised especially Chaeyoung. They congratulated Sana and Jihyo on their engagement. Apparently Jihyo was working abroad and she surprised Sana last week with the proposal.
Sana: this is my best friend Chaeyoung
Jihyo: hi nice to meet you. Sana talked about you alot. How are you?
Chaeyoung: I'm ok. She never mentioned anything about you though.
Jihyo: it's ok. We kinda kept it a secret. I was working in Japan for the past couple of years and last month I finally decided to come out to my parents. So here we are. Engaged.
Sana: Chaeyoung I remember you wanted to talk to me earlier?
Chaeyoung: oh it was nothing. I just wanted to ask how was your vacation. Well I guess I know the answer now. Congratulations to both of you.
