Chaeyoung went back to the office after coming back from Hawaii
Manager: congratulations on the success of your Hawaii project
Chaeyoung; thank you sir
Manager: as I mentioned before. I will recommend you for promotion. Are you up for another project?
Chaeyoung: haha where is it this time?
Manager: it's just in Japan. The project is for a new building in a hospital.
Chaeyoung: hospital in Japan?
Manager: yup. I've already put your name on the list of architects for this project. Don't worry it's just a couple of months and this time I'm coming with you.
Chaeyoung: oh ok.
**Chaeyoung wanted to decline because she thinks she might bump into Mina. During dinner Chaeyoung mention the promotion to her friends
Momo: finally you deserve it.
Tzuyu: yup. You've spent almost a year away from us. That's just right.
Chaeyoung: well I also got a new project
Momo: where is it this time?
Chaeyoung: Japan
Tzuyu: ooohhh
Chaeyoung: why?
Tzuyu: nothing.
Chaeyoung: i know what you're thinking. Japan is a big country. Chances of meeting her is too small.
Momo: don't say that or else
Chaeyoung: or else what?
Momo: nothing. Let's just eat.
**Chaeyoung and her Manager went to Japan to work on that hospital project when their company car got into an accident 🚑
Mina: bye everyone. It's been a long day. I'm going home now.
Nurse: Doctor Myoui?
Mina: yes?
Nurse: I'm sorry. I know you're already on your way home but your wife is in the ER
Mina: wife?
Nurse: uhm Son Chaeyoung
Mina: what?
**Mina rushed to the ER to see an unconscious Chaeyoung full of blood.
Mina: what happened?
Nurse: there was a major car accident on the freeway.
Doctor: are you her wife?
Mina: uhm I'm not her wife
Doctor: but you're her emergency contact person.
Nurse: we need your signature here for the procedure
Mina: uhm 😭😭😭
Doctor: Doctor Myoui don't worry we'll take care of her.
Mina: ok just do what you gotta do.
**Mina was confused. She didn't know that Chaeyoung was in Japan. Was she in Japan all this time. She called Nayeon to inform her about Chaeyoung.
Mina: hello
Nayeon: hi Mina. How are you doing? It's been a long time.
Mina: did you know that Chaeyoung is here in Japan?
Nayeon: uhmm she said she took a project at a hospital there in Japan
Mina: why didn't you tell me. Was she here all this time?
Nayeon: uhm i think you should talk to her about that?
Mina: I don't think that's possible
Nayeon: what do you mean?
Mina: she was involved in a car accident. She's here at my hospital.
Nayeon: what? Is she ok?
Mina: she's in surgery now. You know how I knew about her being here? Because I'm still listed as her emergency contact.
Nayeon: I'm calling the girls. We're going there. Call me when there's an update. Or whatever just call me.
Mina: ok. I'll see you soon.
**Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo and Tzuyu all booked the earliest possible flight going to Japan. They are now at the airport waiting to board their flight.
Momo: did Mina unnie call you yet?
Nayeon: not yet
Tzuyu: why is this flight taking so long to board? I should've bought a private jet.
Jeongyeon: kids relax. She'll be fine.
Nayeon: but why isn't she calling me.
Jeongyeon: maybe she's just busy.
Nayeon: busy with what????
Jeongyeon: i don't know. Why are getting mad at me? I'm just saying that...
Nayeon: just shut up. 😭
Jeongyeon: ok come here. She'll be fine. She's a fighter.
**Jeongyeon hugged her wife reassuring her that Chaeyoung will get through this. Meanwhile at the hospital
Doctor: the surgery was a success. We managed to stop the internal bleeding. She's still out because of the anesthesia. Give her time to rest she'll be awake anytime soon.
Mina: thank you doctor.
**Mina went inside Chaeyoung's room. This is the first time in she saw Chaeyoung again. She slowly approached the bed. The first thing she saw was her tattoos
Mina: you're still beautiful. Please wake up now. I'm here. I'm not going to let you go again.
**Chaeyoung slowly regain her consciousness and immediately the first word she said was.
Chaeyoung: Mina....
