"What do you mean where is she?" Keith looked at his fellow paladin's, "I thought she came up here when we returned?" All the paladins shook their heads. They hadn't seen so much as a glimpse of the green paladin since their return.
"We thought she was with you," Shro commented, taking a step towards Keith. His fatherly instincts were kicking in.
"No, she's not with me. I haven't seen her since we fled down the hall," Keith replied, panic starting to rise in his voice. Had he left her behind? No, he couldn't have. She had been right behind him.
"Everybody calm down. She's probably just relaxing in her room hacking or something." Lance said. Everyone took a breath. Lance could have a point. It was a pretty stressful mission. Maybe she just wasn't in the mood to see anyone.
"You're probably right Lance," Allura agreed, "I'll go and see."
"I'll come with you," Keith said, moving towards the door.
They walked through several corridors before they stood in front of Pidge's door. Allura motioned for Keith to knock. She took a step back so that she was behind him. Why she didn't knock Keith didn't want to get into. He stepped forward, his hand hovering above the door. Finally he knocked on the door twice.
Nothing.
He looked back at Allura, a quizzical look coming over his features. Normally there would be some type of response. A book being thrown at the door at least. Allura shrugged her shoulders in response just as confused as he was. He tried two more times. Still nothing. He tried once more, but this time he called out her name.
"Pidge? It's me, Keith." Still nothing. By this point, Allura was pacing behind Keith. She was wringing her hands and biting her lip. Something that she never did unless she was really nervous.
"I've had enough of this," she said finally. Stepping forward she pressed a button and the door slid open revealing Pidge's room. "Pidge?" Allura called, not hesitating to walk right through the door. Keith was just starting to enter when Allura rushed past him and down the hallway not sparring him a second glance.
Wondering as to what could have caused her to act like that he walked farther into the room, heart racing. Then it was if his heart stopped and dropped to his stomach.
Empty.
That one word that echoed in his mind. The room was vacant except for Pidge's belongings. There was no sign of the little green paladin. Keith couldn't believe it. He gradually started to back away, too shocked to turn himself around. It was as if his body stopped responding to what he wanted it to do. He wanted to run to the red lion and fly back to the galra ship and rescue her. He backed into a wall but he didn't seem to care; he just sank to the floor, staring at nothing in particular. I left her. She's still with the Galra, and It's all my fault.....

Allura didn't stop running until she got to the bridge. The skirts of her dress were flowing behind her as she ran. She startled the three paladins and Coran as she burst through the door out of breath.
"P-Pidge is-" she stopped to catch her breath. The others were already approaching there faces beyond worried for their younger companion.
"Pidge is what?" Hunk asked. His voice was strained. He already knew the answer but he couldn't allow himself to believe it until it was spoken.
"She isn't there," Allura finally said. She faltered for a second. This was not how she planned to lead the paladins. It had been no more than a few months and one of them could already be dead.
Lance couldn't believe his ears. He thought he heard her right but wasn't completely sure. "Pidge..isn't...here?" he asked the group. The others simply gave him a somber look, they couldn't offer a better answer.
Shiro was the only one who kept his emotions in check but didn't keep his place in the room. Keith still had yet to appear on the bridge and it was starting to worry Shiro. Only one paladin needed to go missing. Walking along the corridors he found her door open. Peeking inside he discovered Keith in the room leaning against the wall staring at nothing in particular.
"Keith?" Shiro attempted to get his attention by kneeling to his level. Keith ignored him at first, but he finally looked up. Fresh tears were streaming down his face, his eyes were glistening with pain that Shiro had felt many times before.
Keith opened his mouth and uttered four words. The thought of them causing him more effort then it would be to say them. "It's all my fault."
