Dear Bev and JJ,

I miss you both.

It blows how I'm dragged down here every summer. I get it, I miss the last day of school and go on a never ending car ride to my grandparents' house and my cousins come over too for some "quality family time with your grandfather before he goes so you won't regret it." Who cares that he's dying, anyway? It's not like he gives a flying fuck about me. He's a bigger asshole than Tommy H. Their idea of a party is classical music for ol' Grandpa Joe and inviting the neighbours over. A fucking civil party with the family. This whole place is a fucking shithole and I don't even like the beaches. Shocking, right? Everyone goes to Louisiana for Mardi Gras and the beaches, but I hate it. And Mardi Gras isn't even in summer. The only fun thing here isn't going to happen. I'd rather be in Hawkins with you lunatics than here with my fighting siblings.

The one good thing I've found here is the fact that their weed is the best shit I've ever smoked. It would blow you two away. I hope the fuzz doesn't read this. Hopper, I respect you and I definitely don't break the law under any circumstances. "Weed" is what New Orleans people call parties. Please don't arrest me when I come home.

Pet Nanook for me. I love you, Beverly, and I love you, Jade. Enjoy your booze and rock filled summer. P.S. you assholes better not watch the Breakfast Club without me.
