We walked through the vast, long hall of highschoolers like we were the king and queen. Heads turned and looked as I held his hand. I actually dont undestand why he offered for me to hold his hand. Isnt he worried about his reputation? Wouldnt I ruin it? I suppose not.
I look up at him as we walk slowly, caught behind a crowd of kids. He looked down at me with those golden eyes that take me away with one slight glance. There is something there special. I just know. The feeling in my stomach is a definite sign.
His eyes seem to look into my heart, like he knows everything in my heart and soul. Like he knows how i feel about him. He breaks the moment and speaks, looking away quickly.
"Who do you have this hour?" he asked looking over the heads of kids in the way of our view.
I let go of his hand and take out my paper that shows all of my class schedules. I study it and squint at the small words.
"Science? Mr. Killingsworth?" I questioned. Chris seemed to grunt and mumble something under his breath.
"What?" I asked laughing. He looked back over at me.
"He's my least favorite teacher." he said as he rolled his eyes."He never shuts up and actually teaches. He only talks about his trips and family."
"Oh yea?" i question, laughing."He's one of those teachers huh?"
"Yea but hes worse." he said shrugging and looking over the students backed up in the hallway.
"My lord! How long does it take to walk just two feet? Maybe even one? Come on people get to your lockers! geez!" he smarted. i just giggled.
"What are you laughing at Mother Nature?" he asked laughing. I just smiled more and laughed harder.
"Nothing! Nothing at all Sir Knight!" i joked.
"Uh huh..." he said glaring at me with those eyes. I just looked into his eyes. He is the perfect height. I come right below his chin, so if we hugged, he could easily sit his head on mine and hold me closer. He winked. Did he seriously just wink at me?
He knew he had an effect on me. I gave him a suspicious glare. He literally just held his head back and laughed.
"Oh your something else!" he said wrapping his arm around me.
"Oh yea she is." said the brat girls walking by us and smirking at me.
They walked down the hall, simply having the power over people to automatically move out of their way. They turned around and looked at me and laughed. What is wrong with me? Do i stink? Is my hair messed up?
"Every girl I try to get close to, they ruin it." he said pointing to them.
"Oh really?" i asked. "What girl are you trying to get close to?"
"Mother Nature." he said looking off, walking towards his locker and reaching for my hand. I grabbed it.
"So your getting close to Mother Nature to see how the weather works mostly?"
"No! Do you know how if Mother Nature is cold, then the weather is cold? And how if shes hot, then the weather is hot?" he questioned, raising an eyebrow at me.
"I guess, why?"i asked smiling from ear to ear.
"Because lately the weather has been mighty hot! So, therefore Mother Nature must be mighty hot?" he said poking me in my ribs. I laughed.
