An Unexpected Ride

I was now face to face with the very angry Alex. Even though he was covered in vomit I couldn't help but admire his godlike features.

He was tall,had brown hair,green eyes,a strong jawline with a built physique,strong arms,oh his arms were mezmerizing. But now wasn't the time to be daydreaming about them because he was furious and disgusted.

I was so embarrassed,I immediately regretted for  agreeing to come to this stupid party.

I began to apologize but I was cut off by the rude remark of the boy facing me.

"Ugh,you have got to be kidding me,"he groaned.

"Are you blind? Can't you see where you're going?! Now I'm soaked with your puke ,you're so disgusting,"he spat and pushed me aside.

I was shocked,I didn't know what to do. I got in the bathroom and locked the door,as I looked into the mirror,my reflection disgusted me.

My makeup was ruined,vomit was all over my crop top. I started cleaning myself, tears in my eyes as I recalled the way Alex screamed at me.

It's not like we know each other but me being overly emotional I was hurt.

When i looked back in the mirror,my eyes were swollen and red from my pathetic sobbing. I tried to recompose myself but there was nothing much i could do.

I went out of the bathroom to search for Hannah so she could take me back home,when i suddenly bumped into someone. As i looked up, i realized it was none other than Michael Walker.

He had his usual smirk on,looking down at me until he saw my swollen eyes and his smile faltered."Are you all right?"he asked.

"I'm fine,"I said moved away from him.He was a good looking guy, he was tall,had sharp features with muscles in all the right places,but he was also one of the school's popular players and a friend of Alex.

I started to look around the house in search for Han,but she was nowhere to be found.I got outside on the porch and sat on the double swing set thing.

There wasn't anyone outside,it was peaceful.

I was deep in thought when I heard a cough beside me. I turned and saw Michael looking back at me.

I was confused as to why he would be here instead of enjoying the party inside.

"Can I sit here?"he asked pointing to the place beside me."Yeah,sure" I said nodding.

It felt weird just sitting here in silence. I just wanted to go home and curl up in the comfort of my bed.

"So... what are you doing out here alone?"Michael asked.

"Couldn't find my friend"I replied.

"Ok. I saw that you were crying earlier, are you ok?"

I was taken aback by his question,we didn't know each other, yes we went to the same school but we barely said anything to each other.

And so in a calm voice I said"I'm fine,it was nothing."

"Ok...." he said in a tone that clearly showed he wasn't buying it.

"Why are you here?"I said all of a sudden.
He was surprised by my sudden outburst.

"Can't I not enjoy a breath of fresh air with a lovely lady," he said with a smirk. I kept quiet at that,he then turned to me and just stared at me.

I was very uncomfortable,"Why are you staring at me?" I said bluntly.

"Cause I can," he said again with that smirk still plastered on his face.

I got annoyed at this and stood up to leave,but before I could move any further he grabbed my arm,"Wait you're leaving?I thought we were having such a nice conversation."

"I have to go home," I said and tried to remove my hand from his grip,but to my surprise he grip didn't falter.

"I can drive you home,if you want,"he said with a smile.

"No thanks" I said trying to walk away again.

But Michael didn't listen, he stood up too and started to walk with me.

"C'mon it's not safe to walk alone by yourself at this time,I have a car let me take you," he said and dragged me to his car .

I didn't know what to do and so I just got in his car and we left. The ride was silent apart from the music in the car.

"Turn to the left,"I said and he just ignored me and went straight.

"Heyyy" I said panicking.

"Don't worry, I'm just taking a small detour."

"What do you mean don't worry?! I barely know you and you're taking me somewhere I don't even know."

To my surprise,he started laughing. "What's so funny?" I said.

"I'm not kidnapping you, I just thought you would be hungry since you just puked like 30 minutes ago." And at the realization, my cheeks heated with embarrassment.

  I sat quietly until we reached a small diner with a bright sign with the name 'Benny's diner' on it.

We got out of the car and as we got inside,we were immediately engulfed with warmth and the lovely scent of food. At this my stomach growled which made Michael chuckle.

We sat at a table and Michael ordered for the both of us. Seeing as how the waitress smiled and talked to him, I guessed he was a regular here.

After our orders were taken we were back to silence until Michael cleared his throat which caught my attention.

"So,tell me a little bit about yourself........?"he didn't even know my name.

"Sarah..." I said raising my eyebrow.

"Yeah Sarah, so....?"he said."There's nothing to tell,just an ordinary girl"I said nonchalantly.

"Ok... At the risk of sounding nosy why were you crying earlier?"

I raised my head, I was shocked, not because of his question but because of whom I saw entering the diner.
It was Adam.........
