The next morning I woke up early to make my best friend breakfast. I got to the kitchen to see my mom sitting at the counter crying.
"What's wrong, mom?" I went to her.
She just kept sobbing,my heart broke,"I'm so sorry honey,please stop being angry with me."
I was instantly pulled into a hug and I just melted in her arms. I couldn't be mad at her forever,she was still my mom.
"Its ok,"I whispered."I'm not mad anymore,I love you mom",I hugged her tighter.
"I love you too honey and if it bothers you that much,Adam won't be staying with us,"she assured me.
"Really?"I was shocked. "Yeah,he'll be staying at a motel".
"Oh thank you so much mom."
My mood just got a hell lot better. We stayed like that for like five minutes before I pulled away to prepare some breakfast.
I kept chatting with my mom about school starting next week while I made French toast.
I didn't know how this year is going to be like for me. I just hope its going to be a memorable one and I want to make the best of it.
I went back to my room to be greeted with a yawning Hanna.
"Rise and shine, beautiful. I made you breakfast in bed."
"Thanks,"she replied with a grodgy voice and stated digging in.
I decided to take a shower while she finished eating and went to my bathroom.
The feel of hot water on my back was just amazing.I just stayed there lost in my thoughts while the steam filled the room.
After my well taken shower, I went to choose an outfit for the day.
I decided to go with something different and chose a pink floral sundress that reached to just above my knees.I let my hair dry and curled it to give of a natural wavy look.To finish it all of I put on light makeup with pink lipgloss and wore my favorite white converse.
Now I had to convince Han to have some fun with me today. I can't have her cooped up in my room all day.
"Cmon chop chop young lady,I'm taking you out today get ready," I ushered her to the bathroom.
After picking some clothes out for her from my closet I laid on my bed waiting for her to come out of the shower.
My phone beeped and
I saw a text from an anonymous number.
?: Hey
Me: Um hi do I know u?
?: No
Me: Ok.....
?: How r u?
Me: Its none of ur business
?: Oh feisty, I like that ;)
Me: Leave me alone weirdo
?: Oh I assure u I am not a weirdo
Me: Cocky much
?: Very much;))
Me: Seriously tho...
?: What
Me: Who r u?
?: You'll have to earn that princess
Me: Don't call me that
?: What?princess?
Me; Yes
?: Ok princess;)
Me: Ughhhh
The bathroom door opened and Hanna came out wrapped up in a towel.
I dropped my phone on the bed and got up to help her get ready.
Thirty minutes later we were out of the house with muffins in our hands(courtesy of mom).
"I'm driving today," I said taking the keys from her.
I didn't exactly know where we should go to be honest but I just kept driving.
"We should get some food first," I suggested to but me some time. And so we went to Burger King and ordered our food. We were soon back on the road when I finally got an idea.
There was this amazing field we used to go to as kids and the place was just breathtaking. The whole energy there was filled with calm and relaxation, which was just what Hanna needed right now.
"Where are we going?" she shunned beside me.
"Its a surprise,"I smiled at her cheekily and kept driving.
We got there in like 40 minutes and just as we got out I noticed a familiar car parked a few steps away.
Nah. It couldn't be. I thought to myself.
"Wait isn't that Mike's car?"nudged Han.
"Is it?" I said. My heart was beating, I don't why I was getting so nervous.
"Did you know he'd
be here?"Hanna asked me.
"Uh.. No. Of course not,"I mumbled.
"Well let's go say hi,he's probably in the car,"she started dragging me to the car.
As we reached the car I saw something that kept me in shock.
He wasn't alone in the car. Sitting there with him was none other than Alex.
Dun dun dunnnn
