EVELYN

"We're going to a club tonight," Maggie claps her hand together excitedly. Kirstie and Lucy nod in agreement, while I just hesitate and look down at the little girl in my arms.

"I'm not sure," I finally speak up.

"Come on, girl. Your mom can watch over Faith," Kirstie says.

"I don't know if she'll be able to, though," I sigh.

"Just call her," Lucy shrugs.

I give in and take out my phone. I dial my mother's number. She picks up on the third ring.

"Hey, sweetie," her sweet voice rings through the line.

"Hey, mom. Can you watch over Faith tonight?" I ask.

"Sure," she answers.

I thank her and hang up. The girls smirk at me, knowing that we'll probably get wasted tonight. Since I found out I was pregnant with Faith, I'm against drinking. But whenever I'm out with Maggie and the girls, we can't say no to alcohol it seems like. I'm always trying my best not to get too drunk, for my daughter's sake.

"Let's get ready then," Maggie jumps off of my bed and walks over to my closet. She starts searching for a dress that I could wear while I pack some stuff for Faith.

"Ooh, I like that," I hear Lucy say. I turn around and look at the dress Maggie pulled out of my closet. It's the one she gave me last year for my birthday. It's red and very cut out and short. Not really my style, but I still think it looks good.

"Okay, you're coming in this," the dark haired girl hands the dress over and gestures me to start getting ready. I let out a small sigh and walk into my closet to put on the dress.

I put on some black high heels and walk out of my closet. The girls all look at me with wide eyes.

"Wow," Kirstie says, her eyes raking down my body.

"You look absolutely hot," Maggie claps her hands together like she just created the most beautiful art in the whole world.

Lucy and Kirstie do my makeup while Maggie plays with Faith. After I'm all done, we leave the house. I drive towards my mom's house so I can leave Faith with her. When I park my car, I see my mother already standing in the doorway, waiting for us to finally arrive. I climb out of my car and take my daughter with me.

"Where are you going all dressed up?" my mother asks.

"Uh.. we're going to a friend's birthday party," I lie. She won't let me leave if she'll find out we're going to a club.

"Okay. Have fun!" she takes Faith out of my hands and kisses my cheek before turning around and walking into the house.

I walk back to my car and sit in the driver's seat. Maggie tells me the directions to the club they want to go to and I follow. I park my car in an empty spot and we all get out. I show my ID to the bouncer and he lets me inside. The others follow me and we head straight to the bar, ordering some cocktails.

"There's going to be a concert here," Kirstie says, looking around.

I do the same, seeing some posters on the walls. I look behind me, hoping there will be another poster, so I can see the artist that's going to perform tonight. My eyes widen as I see the name of the band and the four boys. Brad and the boys are going to perform tonight.
