EVELYN

"Go home!" I hear Maggie yell before a sports bag is thrown out into the hallway with Ashley's clothes in it.

"Please don't do this," for the first time in my life, I hear Ashley cry. I widen my eyes and hurry out into the hallway, making eye contact with Kirstie and James.

"What's happening?" James asks, furrowing his eyebrows and looking at the two, crying women.

"This fucking whore is in love with my fiancé!" Maggie shouts through her tears, pointing to Ashley. Everyone gasps and looks back and forth at the two of them.

"I'm sorry," Ashley whispers and picks up her bag, walking down the stairs.

"Ash, wait!" I shout after her. She turns around, almost fully downstairs. I run down until I finally reach her and take her bag away. "Don't let this ruin your friendship. Is a boy really more important than that?" I look up at Maggie.

"George isn't just a boy," she sniffs. "He's my fiancé and she's fucking in love with him," she crosses her arms.

"Did she try to make a move on him?" I raise an eyebrow.

"No," my ex roommate shakes her head.

"Then that means she respects your relationship and won't do anything to mess that up," I smile at Ashley, who returns my smile and I turn my head back to Maggie. "A man isn't that important to ruin your friendship."

There's a silence in the whole house, Tris, Con and Lucy stopping in front of the staircase and looking up with confusion. I look at Maggie pleadingly. She seems like she's thinking about what I said. I look at Brad, who has a proud smile on his face, and is leaning against our room's doorframe with his arms crossed. I smile at him and return my attention to the black haired girl.

"You're right," Maggie finally speaks up, admitting defeat. "Ash, I'm... I'm so fucking sorry," she starts crying again while her friend runs up to her and pulls her into a tight hug.

"It's my fault. I'm sorry," Ashley sniffs too.

The two girls pull away from their hug and go back to Ashley's room. When everyone else realizes the show is over, they head into their own rooms. I walk up to Brad, who pushes himself away from the doorframe and pulls me into a hug.

"Wow, never thought you'd ever do something like that for Ashley," he chuckles, walking backwards and pulling me with him. I kick the door in, still in his embrace.

"Me neither, but I had to step in and knock some sense into Maggie," I shrug.

"You were right out there. Love shouldn't end a friendship," he smiles down at me, slightly pulling away.

I smile back at the curly haired boy and push him down on the bed. I climb on top of him and rest my head on his chest, his strong arms wrapping around my body. I furrow my eyebrows, looking at his arms.

"Have you been working out?" I look at him in surprise.

"Glad you finally noticed," he says sarcastically with an eye-roll.

"I didn't pay much attention," I shrug and lie my head back on his chest.

Brad starts rubbing my back in a calming manner and I feel myself getting sleepy. I try to stay awake, but I eventually give in, falling asleep on top of Brad.

I'm woken up not too long after I fall asleep by Brad. "Babe, I really have to pee," he shakes me awake. I roll off of him and chuckle as he runs out of the room.

I look over to Faith's crib, seeing her play with a toy. I walk over and kneel down next to it, resting my head on my arms. She looks up from her toy and smiles at me, standing on her feet. She struggles walking over to me, but once she manages, she presses a kiss to my face, making my smile turn into a grin.

"I love you!" she exclaims excitedly.

"I love you too, sweetie," I laugh.

"You could kneel for me, too," Brad enters the room and when I turn to him with wide eyes, he just winks at me and sits down on the bed.

"Bradley!" I scold him.

"Just saying," he shrugs. Can't believe this man is really talking dirty in front of our daughter, even though she doesn't understand.

"I could take care of Faith while you do that," I hear Tris say from the hallway and I roll my eyes.

"You don't need to, I'm not going to do it," I glare at him playfully.

"We'll see," Brad smirks.

"We're going skiing. Wanna come?" the tall boy asks.

"Evelyn sure will," Brad says and Tris laughs. I pick up Faith's toy and throw it at Brad, who catches it and laughs. He throws it back and I hand the toy to Faith, who sits down and continues playing.

"We'll be down in a minute," I nod and Tris leaves. "Get dressed," I look at Brad as I stand up with our daughter in my arms.

I sit her on the bed while Brad gets dressed and I slide her tiny boots on, her jacket next. Brad turns to me with a curious and confused expression and I raise an eyebrow.

"You're not skiing?" he looks at my outfit while I step in my boots.

"Someone has to watch over Faith," I shrug. "Plus, I'm not even good at skiing."

"I can teach you," he smiles at me.

"I'll pass," I giggle, picking Faith up and following my boyfriend out of the room.

We head downstairs and put on our jackets, meeting the group outside the house. I explain everyone why I'm not in my 'skiing outfit' and they leave. I sit down at the bench under the house's window and watch as Brad starts skiing. He's not the best at it, comparing him to the others, but it's fun seeing him fall on his butt a few times. Faith is enjoying her father's struggle as well, giggling a few times when he falls.

"Yo, there's an ice skating rink down there!" Lucy shouts and I stand up, Faith wrapping her arms around my neck. I walk to the top of the hill and look down; Lucy was right.

"We should try it out," Brad grins, looking at me. He knows I can't ice skate and I already feel he's going to mess with me if I step out onto that rink.

"And what do I do with Faith?" I ask him, putting my free hand on my hip.

"I can watch her. I hate ice skating," Tris offers and all the others look at him puzzled. "What?"

"How can you hate ice skating?" Ashley asks in disbelief.

"Bad memories," the tall boy just shrugs.

"Well, let's go then," I smile at everyone.

We head back into the house and I wait for them to get changed. I leave Faith with Tristan, who sits down on the couch with a book and starts reading it to her. Apparently, he found a kid's book on one of the shelves in the living room, so they're going to have fun.

Once everyone comes downstairs, we head out and down to the ice skating rink. We rent ice skates and Brad helps me onto the ice.
