It's not working. The doorbell isn't working. I guess I should just go home then. Sorry Owen, your doorbell wasn't working so I had to go home.

The door opens. I jump back, startled, and almost fall off the small set of stairs before the door.
"Landon! Hey!"
"Hi Owen" I say, bringing myself back in balance. "Your doorbell isn't working".
Owen nods.
"Oh, yes. Logan broke it".
I hear a loud cough coming from the living room.
"Alright, I broke it".

"Come in" he says, and he steps aside. I walk inside, and get a small smile on my face when I smell the smell of their home. It makes me feel strangely nostalgic.
"Logan, leave" Owen says, when he walks in.
"Wait a minute" he says. "Lucy is acting weird..."
"She's coughing Logan, not dying".
Logan sighs, and gets up off the couch.
"Just watch her, okay" he says. "I'm worried about her".
He walks towards the door. Owen looks at him, and chuckles.
"So, you let Willow draw on your cast" he says. Logan looks up, frowns, and then turns a little red.
"Die in a hole" he says, and he walks upstairs.

"Ahh, it never gets old" Owen says, smiling.
I chuckle, and sit down on the couch.
"I don't get why he's so embarrassed about it, Willow is a great girl" I say.
He looks at me, and raises an eyebrow.
"Yeah?" he asks.
I nod enthusiastically.
"She's pretty much my best friend. Along with Dean and Lucas from the volleyball team" I say.
He smiles, and shrugs.
"I guess Logan just doesn't like the fact that he's feeling feelings" he says, and he sits down next to me. I understand that, I don't like the fact that I'm feeling feelings at this exact moment. Well, not all feelings, but some of the feelings are very annoying. Besides, even if he has those too, would we start a relationship? That thought makes me feel very strange, and not in a positive way.

"Let's watch part three" he says, and he turns on the TV. He clicks a few buttons, and starts the movie.
I watch the movie, and suddenly feel something strange. My eyelids are starting to feel heavy again. Oh no. Not again. I don't want to sleep again. I know Owen said he wouldn't mind, but I just felt stupid the last time. I came here to watch a movie and in the end I didn't even watch half of it.

I try my best to stay awake, but it gets harder and harder as the movie goes on. The moving images are so tiring, and at the same time, strangely calming. What if I just close my eyes for three seconds, and try to rest as much as possible, so I'll be awake again afterwards. I sigh, and close my eyes for just three seconds.

"You're falling asleep!"
I look up, and Owen's grinning at me.
"No, no I'm not" I say. "I'm awake".
"If you want to sleep, that's okay" he says.
"No, it wouldn't be fun for you" I say. "I'm here so we can hang out, remember?"
"No" he says. "You're here because I want to win a free guitar. Besides, I'm watching a movie. I'm enjoying myself just fine".
I look at him for a second, and slowly nod.
"Okay" I say. "But still, I don't want to keep falling asleep".

"Just sleep, okay. You need it" he says.
I stare at him, and sigh.
"Okay" I say. "Can I get a pillow?"
"Why? You didn't need one last time" he says. Instantly, I feel my entire face burning. He doesn't even say it in a mocking way, he seems completely sincere about it.
"Well, I uhm... I kind of fell for... On. I kinda fell on your shoulder and I didn't know if..."
He rolls his eyes, and laughs.
"Alright, but we don't have any spare pillows" he says, and he hands me a blanket.
"I'll just try to sit upright" I say, putting the blanket around my shoulders.

I close my eyes, and try to take a comfortable position. After a while, I find something semi-comfortable. The only way it could be better was if I could rest my head against something...

Well, I did it before, I can just pretend I'm laying on his shoulder in my sleep again. He didn't mind the first time, he didn't seem like he'd mind this time. Why not?
