I just love Fridays. Fridays are my favourite days of the week, no doubt. I have a short day at school, and in the afternoon it's movie day, though that usually means cuddling Owen and falling asleep while he stares at me with that look in his eyes that makes me feel butterflies and happiness.

Today we'll be watching the sixth Harry Potter movie. Owen really enjoyed the first ones. He's never actually watched them before, but he read the first book once when he was a kid. I didn't really sleep the first afternoon, I just watched him be excited about magic and sleepily answered every question he asked me.

Now I'm waiting outside school for Owen to pick me up again. Today is our five week anniversary. Lucas is finally starting to move on from Jay a little bit, but he's still mostly depressed. I don't spend time with Dean and Lucas as much as I used to. We hang out after volleyball practice, but that's really all. During breaks I spend most of my time with Willow and Logan. Alex has been spending a lot of her time training the cheerleaders lately, up to the point where she continues during breaks.

So, most of my time is spent talking to Willow about Owen, except when Logan is there too. I still feel a little awkward about it with him, considering how all the things that annoy Logan are the same things I find so adorable about Owen. As Logan said on one of the rare occasions I was talking about Owen with him there too, the two biggest idiots he knows are now dating.

I don't really mind it when he says that kind of stuff. He's right, really. But I love being an idiot with Owen. Doing things like eating ice cream in winter, and going on random little 'adventures' to the store to find the most stupid toys and then hide them everywhere in Logan's room. I love doing those things.

I see a car pull up, and smile immediately, as I jump up from the bench under the glass roof of the bus stop. Owen opens the car door, and waves at me with a big smile. I run towards him.
"Hi!" I say, and I hug him tightly. He laughs, and hugs me back.
"Hello" he says, pressing a kiss on my hair. "You're happy to see me?"
"Yes" I say, smiling shyly. "I've barely seen you all week".

"Well, I've been busy" he says, letting go of me. "College stuff".
"When will you apply?" I ask. He shrugs.
"Somewhere in the spring" he says. It's now early December, and the entire town is full of Christmas lights and decorations.
"It's very early now, and I haven't even been to the building yet. I probably need to find a job too, I can't live with my parents forever..."
We get in the car, and talk about things like Christmas and high school. He talks about his high school experience. He went to a different school, before it turned to a place where people got murdered and innocent cats got killed for petty revenge.

"I feel bad for that person" I say, with a sigh. Owen looks at me, with a light frown.
"You... Don't know who that was?"
I shake my head. "The news kept the victim anonymous" I say. "Do you?"
He bites his lip, and sighs.
"It was Logan" he then says.
"What?"
He nods, and looks back to the road sternly. I feel very bad for never figuring it out. I mean, Logan has a new cat now, whom he treats like his firstborn child, and somehow I never put two and two together.

"I'm... So sorry..." I say quietly. He shakes his head.
"I didn't know her very well, he got her over summer when I was away with friends" he says. "But it was awful seeing Logan so upset. He didn't come out of his room for weeks, until one day, he just came back and acted like everything was normal. He just said he wanted to change schools because his old school had no future for him".
I nod slowly.
"I can imagine" I say.
It's quiet for a while, before Owen suddenly starts talking about Christmas again. I'm happy with the change of subject, and start talking about decorating Christmas trees.

When we get to his house, we start watching Harry Potter and the Half blood Prince. I grab my usual blanket, and cuddle up in it. I lay my head against Owen's shoulder, as I sleepily watch Harry attempt to flirt. Not like I'm very good at it. Lucy joins us too, jumping on Owen's lap, and laying down against my leg. I stare at the kitten, who has already grown a lot since the first time I came here. She's allowed to go outside now, but Owen said she doesn't seem to like it a lot. I don't mind that, I like it when she watches movies with us.
