Chapter 31

Sabrina's POV
March 2.

Today is my birthday !! I couldn't more thankful for everything. The guys had made me breakfast I'm surprised they didn't burn down the house. Later my family is throwing me a party and we will all be going. Now we are all in the living room talking. I'm currently leaning on Erick and my feet are on Christopher's lap.

" You and Joel basically have the same birthday." Christopher said and I nodded.

Text message from Joelito
Joelito: have Erick switch with me 🥺. I want to be next to my baby.

He actually called me baby. I looked up at him and smiled. I haven't told Erick anything. Joel and I are deciding on when to tell them. 

" Let's go and play some ball." Zabdiel then said. The boys all got up except for Joel and I.

" Finally some alone time." Joel said kissing my lips. I will never get tired of this feeling.

" Happy Birthday Beautiful." He whispered against my lips.

" Thank you baby." I said.

" When should we tell the guys ?" He asked. 

" Before we leave , so that way we can tell our moms." I said and he nodded agreeing.

" Your the boy of my dreams Joel. I just wanted you to know that." I said smiling at him. 

* hours later*
I walked into Joel's room.

" You ready?" I asked.

"Wow , you look beautiful."He said and I blushed.  The boys were all ready.  I know because Chris was complaining about food. We held hands and walked downstairs. As soon as we made it downstairs. Zabdiels eyes fell on me. Meanwhile Erick was focusing on our hands.

" Guys can we talk ?" Joel spoke. They all looke at us.

" So um we are giving us a try. As in Joel and I are dating."  I said.

" FINALLY!" Richard and Christopher yelled. Zabdiel stood shut. I couldn't read his face. Meanwhile, Erick stormed out.

" Is he okay?" Joel asked and I shrugged.

" We better get going."I said.

Zabdiels POV

My heart shattered. Although , I knew this would happen.  I already knew she liked Joel. Now I must watch them.

Sabrina's POV
The entire car ride Erick was silent. I will talk to him later because he won't mess up my birthday.

" Mom we have some news." I said taking Joel's hand in mine. But, instead he wrapped his arm around my waist.

" No , no puede ser ." Joel's mom smiled.

" Yes we are giving it a try ." Joel smiled and they attacked us.

Our families love us together since we all met.

After some time I went and sat next to Erick.

" Heyy cubano." I said. Silence.

" Erick do you want something to drink ?" I asked. Once again silence.

" Okay then." I said getting up. What is his problem ? It's my birthday and he's ignoring me.

"Baby everything okay ?" Joel asked concerned.

" It's just Erick but, everything is fine." I stated.

After everyone sang happy birthday to me and I opened my gifts. I couldn't be more happier to have Joel by my side.

* At home*

" ERICK BRIAN COLON!" Followed hom into his room and shut the door.

" What is your problem ?" I asked and once again he stood shut. I walked closer to him and got in his face. I stared into his green eyes.

" Erick why are you ignoring me ?" I asked evident in my tone that I was annoyed.

" Want to know why I'm mad? I'm mad because you never told me anything that was happening." He said clearly disappointed.

" Cubano it was all happening so fast." I sighed.

" But , wow your dating Joel ?" He said sounding mad and annoyed.

" I thought you supported me and wanted this too ?" I asked confused.

Erick's POV

Ugh she's right. She's my best friend I support her happiness. I guess I'm not mad at her. I'm mad at myself for realizing that I was falling for my best friend now and it's too late.
