Skye’s P.O.V
I wake up nestled into Jake’s bare chest; I look up at Jake sleeping and keep telling myself this is not a dream. I get one arm free without waking him up, so I try not to test my luck and get my other arm free and reach for my phone. I just barely get two fingers on it; I stretch a little more and finally knock my phone into my hand. I open up my camera app and take a couple pictures of him sleeping and then of us laying together. I take the last picture and he pulls me even closer to him, I lay my head down on his chest and I can smell his cologne. I could not place the name of it but he smelled like Jesus. I laid there for a good 10 minutes, just listening to his heart beat sync up with mine and beat in unison. Though good things don’t last forever I suppose, Jake jolts up to someone beating on my door. I quickly put my hand over his mouth before he says anything. “Yes, who’s there?” I hear two people sigh on the other side of the door; I roll my eyes knowing who is at the door. “What do you two want?” I hear them both gasp, “Just wanted to remind you that we are going out tonight with Dad and your staying home to clean up this pigsty of a house” I just roll my eyes and agree, I have a English paper due on the first day of class anyway, so I knew I was not going out tonight. After about 2 minutes of me not responding they both stomped their feet and stormed down the stairs. I removed my hand from his mouth, and whispered “Sorry” trying not to wake up Nolan. He just smiled and shook his head. “Good morning to you too” he said with his morning voice, which made him even sexier. We lay there for another 2 minutes, Jake then grabs his phone and turns it on to his phone being blown up by Scooter, Joey, and Kevin wondering where he is and why he didn’t come back to the hotel. He sighs reading the messages but I knew he had to leave at some point because he had to get ready for the club opening tonight and to leave tomorrow morning to go back on tour. He proms himself up on one elbow and sticks his index finger under my chin and lifts my head up to meet his beautiful brown eyes, “Well thanks for being my cuddle buddy for the night and if you get done early tonight with your choirs you should swing by the club, I will add your name to the list” he got up and threw on his shirt. He shook Nolan a little until he woke up, Jake put his index finger to his mouth giving Nolan the signal to stay quite. Jake picked him up and started for the door. I quickly tip toe over to him and grab his wrist. He turns and stairs into my eyes again, “Yeah did you want something?” I shook my head, “Just wanted to ask how are you getting home, since I brought you hear?” he slowly forced palmed himself, “good point, I will call Scooter or Joey to come pick me up” he starts to open the door but I hurry up and shut it and stand in front of it, he laughs, “If I didn’t know any better you don’t want me to leave” I felt my cheeks growing warmer, “No, it’s just if my sisters see you, you will be swarmed with fans and paparazzi” I whisper, “Ok then how are we going to sneak out of the house without being seen” I think for a little bit, I got an idea, “I will be right back but in the mean time call someone to come pick you up” I slip out the door and tip toe down the hall way to see if Cynthia is cleaning one of the witches rooms. Just my luck she was, I quickly slipped in Tiffany’s room and tapped Cynthia on the shoulder. She jumped back a little and turned to see who touched her, “Oh it’s just you Skye, don’t sneak up on someone like that” she playfully slaps my arm. “Sorry but can I ask you of a favor?” she looks at me with big eyes, “Ohh do we have someone we need to sneak out?” she asks raising her eyebrows up and down, nudging my arm. I blush slightly, “Yeah but no one can know he was here, defiantly the two witches” she nods in agreement, “Ok I will go distract them and you can sneak him out the front door, ok?” I nodded in agreement and hurried back to my room. As I entered my room, I see Jake looking through the things on my desk. I clear my throat, “Um can I help you?” I yell-whisper, he quickly turns around dropping the notebook I write songs in. “Um sorry but I got bored” he says rubbing the back of his neck. I walked over to him and picked up the notebook, “its fine I just don’t want anyone looking in this notebook” I walk to my bed and set it on my nightstand. “I didn’t look in it I swear” I look back at him and smile, “I know you didn’t, but when I get the signal I will sneak you out” he nods in agreement. My phone vibrate and I see it say, “GO NOW” I grab Jake’s arm and pull him towards the door. I peek out the door to make sure the hallway is clear. I open the door more and signal for them the cost is clear. Jake picks up Nolan and I slowly creep down the stairs to see if the foyer is clear. I take the last step and go to signal them down, when Chrystal walks in. “Have you seen my pink lotion anywhere” I grab her by the shoulders and spin her towards the living room and pushed her, “I think I saw it in the living room yesterday, so go look” as she caught her balance, she started to look. I quickly motioned for them to hurry up and get out the front door. As Jake opened the front door, he stopped and turned around and hugged me, “Thanks for the place to stay” he whispered. I heard Chrystal walking towards the front door so I pushed him out the door and shut it. “Who was at the door, I didn’t even hear anyone knock” I smile, “Yeah I must be hearing things” I say slowly inching back up the stairs. I make it back to my room and fall on to my bed. I turn on my phone and unlock it. I hit my gallery app and sat there looking at the pictures I took that morning and just smiling like an idiot.
