Skye's P.O.V
We reached my car, almost falling once though. Without separating I tried searching for the keys, after about two minutes of franticly searching my pockets I found them. I hit the unlock button and it made that little beep noise to show it's unlocked. Jake pulled away, and carried me over to the passenger seat and opened the door. He set me down and I mumbled "Thank you" He bowed a little and hurried over to his seat. He shut his door and we just sat there in silence but not awkward silence but a good silence just listening to the rain hit the roof of the car. The silence was broken when he spoke up, "Um...did you bring a change of clothes for you, cause I don't want you to be getting sick now" I smiled, I reached in the back seat of the rental I bought and grabbed the change of clothes I brought. I shuffled through the bag and noticed I brought a pair of basketball shorts that Cameron always left at my house. I sat there just staring at them until a shiver went down my spine. I quickly handed him the shorts and he just threw off the shirt and tossed it in the back. He looks over at me and just smiles that grin that makes my legs turn into liquid. I make my way towards the back seat, after I got back there I hurried and stated, "Jake, you better not peek while I'm changing!" I could see him blushing in the review mirror, he looked up and our eyes meet. "I won't look I promise" he says holding up his hand and crossing over his heart. "Scouts honor" We kept staring at each other, until he smiled. "Fine I will cover my eyes...will that make you happy?" he placed both hands over his eyes still smiling. "Yes it will thank you" I responded taking off my shirt. I slide off my pants and threw on black sweats and a black and white crop top. I look up and still see Jake sitting there with his hands over his eyes. I quickly made it back to my seat and I heard Jake speak. "Can I open my eyes now?" I giggled, "Yeah you can" he slowly opened his eyes and looked over at me. I saw his eyes flicker from my eyes down to my lips. He inched closer but slowly. I could not take it anymore so I threw my arms around his neck and closed the gap between us until our lips meet. We moved in sync, his hands went down to my waist trying to get me closer to him but there was a center console in the way. I spoke against his lips, "Don't you have a show tonight?" He pulled away and leaned his forehead against mine. "Why did you have to remind me" I giggled again, "Cause you have fans that I don't want to be the reason you disappoint them" He readjusted in the seat and went to start the car but found no keys. I could not keep my laughter kept in so I busted out laughing. "You think this is funny Skye?" I stop laughing and looked over at him trying to keep a straight face. He held out his hand for the keys and I dropped them in his hands. He started the car and took off; I stared out the window for most of the car ride. About 5 minutes after we took off he took my hand and intertwined our fingers. Just that simple gesture made me smile. We pulled up in front of the arena he plays tonight; he runs over to my side and opens my door for me. I blush slightly, "Thanks Jake" Our hands find one another again and we walk towards his dressing room. We walk in and see Scooter, Joey, and Kevin sitting there on their phones. Once Jake shut the door all their eyes verged towards us and their face turned to relief. "Jake you are not to leave by yourself again without telling someone where you are going" Scooter said wagging his finger. All Jake did was smile and hold up our hands, "I was not alone so calm down, I'm here now ain't I" he walked me over and set me down in a chair near Kevin. "Yeah Jake hurry up we need to do sound check" Joey said while leaving the room. Jake bent down and kissed my cheek and whispered in my ear. "See you after sound check and maybe tonight I can remove that lace black bra" my mouth fell open when he pulled away and winked at me. Before I could register what he just said he quickly ran out of the room. I just sat there smiling and think maybe he could.
Jake's P.O.V
Once I got on stage we went through the lineup of songs for tonight. I must say though I was the happiest I have ever been during sound check and it's all because of Skye. I sang the last song and I heard Scooter somewhere back stage yell, "That's a wrap, now go rest up for the show tonight" I started walking over to the side of the stage to get a water. I felt someone throw their arm over my shoulder. I looked over and saw Joey, "So you left to meet Skye?" Joey asked raising his eyebrows up and down. I just shook my head, "I will explain later but right now I need to go see her" I made my way back to the dressing room. As I opened the door I found the room empty, I did a whole 360° and exited the room. I made it down the hallway asking random people on the way if they seen a girl wondering the halls. Coming up short, I was getting frustrated, I tried to stay positive but my thoughts somehow always went negative. I searched until I was needed to introduce the finalist to the contest. I walked up and introduced the first singer and walked off stage and stood near Joey. "Yeah have you seen Skye?" he shook his head no. I tried to focus on the song the person was singing but it was no point cause my mind was only fixated on one thing...Skye.
"Here you guys go the last entry and now we will come back with the winner" I set the mic back on the stand and walked back stage. Scooter was talking about all three performances but I was paying little attention to it. "Jake do you agree?" I just nodded. "Yeah sounds fine" I was handed a mic and was showed the elevator I was supposed to take up to come up on the stage. We did our little huddle just like before every show we did. As we turned to enter the elevator a girl raced by us into the elevator followed by two men in black suits, the doors closed before they could grab her. "Skye?" her head popped up and she smiled and waved. "Hey Jake" just then the elevator started going up. I quickly made my way back up to the stage. By the time I made it to the side of the stage music started to play but it was not any beat of my music but I heard it before. As I reached the stage Skye picked up the mic and started to sing facing me. "On the first day of class, you walked into the room. Just a hot little thing, with a bad attitude And I knew, I knew, I knew you were trouble baby" She sang right at me and I don't know why but I just walked towards her while she was singing. "I was saved by the bell, Couldn't wait to get home and tell my mama 'Bout this boy I don't know. Yeah I knew, I knew I knew it was complicated" With that she threw her arms around my neck and stared right into my eyes. "Boy I know you're dangerous, you're not the one I'm supposed to love, but this is more than just a crush. Tonight So I'm gonna tell my mama about ya

She sang her heart out right at me, pouring her whole soul into every word. As she finished her song the whole crowed went nuts. I went to say something but I was cut off by Scooter talking through another mic. "Well that changes everything, don'ts you guys agree?" With that the crowed went even more nuts. "Well I guess we have our winner and she is already on the stage so no need to go find her" I whipped around and gave Scooter a glare. I felt my body tense up until I felt Skye slip her hand in to my and then my whole body relaxed. "So I'm the winner?" I heard Skye mumble into the mic in her hand.
