We had just left the airport and dropped off Mere and Tiana to they car so at this moment me and Kam was on our way to my home so she could meet my mother. "So are you nervous" I asked she looked over at me "Nah not really all the ladies love me" I laughed "If you say so" I turned up the radio as whatever rapper we listened to spit metaphors unlike no other. The more I listened the more the voice came familiar "Bae this you" I said getting a little to excited she laughed "Yea just something I do for fun" I just nodded and sat back listing to her smooth voice. We pulled up at my home about twenty minutes later and four out after she parked and grabbed my luggage going in my purse I pulled out my key and unlocked the door "Honey I'm home" I hollered out "Baby girl" I heard Zeek shout and come from the kitchen I went to hug him "How was your trip" I nodded "It was good but where's mom" "Bathroom she will be down shortly now who's this" I smiled and pulled Kam next to me "Pops this is Alicia or Kam as your here me call her babe this is my dad Zeek" they shook hands "Its nice to meet your sir" he smiled "You as well I've heard alot about you" "Really all good things I hope" he nodded "Nothing short of good would you like anything to drink while we wait" "A water would be fine thank you" Zeek got up to get the water and I heard my mom coming down the stairs.

"So Alicia what do you do for a living" to say my mom was grilling her was and understatement she asked about her age her family any mental illnesses everything "I'm a English teacher but I also own a couple of businesses" my mom nodded "So how did your meet my daughter" I cleared my throat because this was a question I needed to answer for my self and whether my mom would accept it or not is what I'm afraid of but reguardless I'm still going to be with her "Ok mom I'll answer that....and don't get mad just have an open mind....she's my English teacher" it was quiet for a while Zeek gave me a reassuring smile and my mom well she looked like she was ready to fight uncrossing her leg and putting both elbows on her knees she leaned forward "Are you happy Lola" she asked softly I smiled "Yes mama I am very happy" she turned to Kam "I'm only going to say this once this is my baby girl and if I ever see or even hear about you hurting her we will have a problem I accept her choices she's old enough to know what she wants and she mature enough to handle this relationship but if she sheds as so much as a half of tear over you I will break my foot off up in you....are we clear" Kam smiled "With all due respect Ms. Harris I love your daughter I am in love with your daughter and I would never do anything to hurt her intentionally and I will try my best not to do unintentional as well I have a daughter of my own and just like you I would break someone's neck if they ever came close to hurting her so what I'm trying to say is your girl is in good hands" my mom smiled "Good" she stood up and opened her arms "Come on give me a hug" Kam laughed standing up as well while I wiped the invisible sweat from my forehead. My mom and Kam sat and talked for a while and I just sat back observing Kam looked down at her watch "Sorry to cut this short Ms. Brenda but I have to get home to my baby girl" my mom smiled "Oh sure honey go head but promise to come back and bring her so I can meet her" "Of course" I stood up to walked her out after I closed the door behind us she hugged me and placed a kiss on my lips "I was thinking that maybe your family could join me my mom and Kah for Thanksgiving that way she can meet my mom and Kah at the same time" I smiled and nodded "That would be great I'll let her know...I love you and give my baby kisses for me" she smiled "I love you too and I will" with one last kiss she walked away and I went in after seeing her pull off.

"Come on bae we going to see mama" I tossed Te her coat and waited as she put it on I won't lie I missed mama rose dearly and we was going to visit her every other day until we went to Miami but now that I'm back I have to fill her in on the wonderful time I had for my birthday but leaving out the sex of course. Pulling up to the hospital I parked in visitors and got out and went to opened up Te door helping her out she closed her door and I hit the lock on my pad and grabbed her hand making our way inside. When we got to the front desk the old lady looked you and smiled "How can I help you" "Yes I was wondering if you could tell me what room Rose Thomas is in" she typed on her computer "She's in room 510" I nodded and grabbed Tiana's hand going to the elevator we got in pressed 5 and waited til it got on the fifth floor before we stepped out and started for the room. Soon as we made it to room 510 we knocked twice and opened up I didn't have to worry because I made sure she had a private room.
