Chapter 26

Three days had passed and we had a small memorial for mama and today we were packing for Vegas since that's where mama wanted her ashes spread Monique and Brenda wanted to come but they couldn't take off of work even on a weekend I decided not to marry Tiana in Vegas one cause I know she would want to be around family and have Zeek give her away and secondly because we both agreed we wanted Milly to be walking so she could be the flower girl. "Babe have you seen my Polo Beanie" I yelled out to Tiana she came walking in with Milly in her arms she went over to the dresser and opened the top drawer tossing me my hat out "Thank you baby" she nodded "You welcome" she walked back out probably to finish packing Milly princess luggage she wasn't coming with us but she was going to momma bren house for the two days we was go be there and Tiana say she had to have emergency outfits toys and other things. I was finally done packing my bag and Tiana's bag was already packed and down stairs so now all I was waiting on was her to finish up with Milly I took my bag down stairs and moments later Tiana was coming down car seat with a bundled Milly in one hand diaper bag on her shoulder and the princess suitcase in the other "Hold on baby let me get that" I grabbed the car seat and the suitcase "Thank you" she said sounding out of breath "No problem next time call for me so I can help" she nodded putting on her coat I put mines on as well before grabbing the car seat and my luggage Tiana grabbed her luggage and she already had the diaper bag so we left out I strapped Milly car seat in before going back in and grabbing mamas urn with her ashes in it I closed and locked the door before getting back in the car and taking off.

After dropping off Milly we ended up meeting Kam and Lola at the airport. After going through security check and waiting an additional thirty minutes we were boarding and pulling off the ride was going to be approximately 4 hours so I was glad we decided to ride first class there and back. Soon as the ride got to cruising altitude level the fly attendants walked up and down the aisles taking orders for food and drink we all declined and opted to get something later. I sat back leaned on Tiana and eventually fell asleep. I woke up to Tiana calling my name telling me we were here I stood up stretched and grabbed both me and Te carry on bags and exiting the plane I smiled seeing the lights all lit seeing as we left Detroit at 3pm it was now 7pm there but it was 3 or 4pm in Vegas and as you know everything was starting to come alive. We decided to rest for a while before doing anything we were staying at the Ceasers Palace in the villa suit walking into the room we all looked on in awe it looked just like the room out of the hangover "We got a Jacuzzi in the middle of the fucking living room yesss" Lola said I laughed as her and Te started tweaking honestly these girls were one in the same and it was that goofy persona that kept me afloat and kept my mind off of mama being gone don't get me wrong I still have my moments of course but this wonderful woman makes it all easier.

Lola....

"Oh my goodness babe this room is fantastic"  I said to Kam as I looked around our marvelous master bedroom with the amazing master bathroom" Yea it is I can't wait to go to dinner tonight I wonder what Mere got reserved" I nodded in agreement "Yea but until then let's get some rest this time change got me feeling weird" she laughed as she slipped off her shoes and jacket before climbing into bed and I soon followed suit I cuddled up next to her letting her arms wrap around me she buried her face in my neck and held the back of her head moments later I felt a wetness on my neck and the sound of her sniffles I tried to get her to look at me but it wouldn't work "Baby you have to let me in you can't shut me out please talk to me" she shook her head "I don't want you to see me so weak" I sat up pulling her with me "Why would I think you were weak baby" she looked me with a straight face and said "Because I'm sitting up here crying on you like lil bitch" I held back my laugh and looked at her before speaking "Alicia I don't think you a lil bitch or that you weak you just lost a very important person in your life and your still grieving my nod as your girl is to let you cry on my shoulder hold you console you and let you know everything is going to be ok because it is I'm always going to be here for you but you have to be comfortable enough to open up let me and talk to me especially in tines like these" she nodded in understanding "I miss her Mil and I didn't get a chance to say goodbye and tell her I love her" I smiled "Alicia mama rose knew you loved her and that's what tomorrow's releasing of the ashes is for so we all can get our last goodbyes tell her we love her and to let her know we will see her when we get to heaven" she grabbed my face "Besides Kah you are one of the best things to ever happen to me" I smiled and pecked her lips before we returned to our original position and eventually falling asleep.
