Chapter 23

This is going to be spilt up in two parts I don't wanna confuse anything only because this will lead into Valentine's day and I don't wanna do the same back and forth thing I did on the Christmas chapter now read on

The New Years came and went and school had started back it was now the day before Valentine's day and I was dreading getting up and going to school especially since the first day after break they fired Alicia.

*Flash Back*

It was January 7th and we had just started back school after the holidays and I hadn't started moving in with Alicia yet so I was at my mom's place and for some crazy reason I was running super later like thirty minutes so when I got to school and seen the principal in our class room and Alicia standing at her desk packing up with bria smiling in a conniving way I knew nothing good was going to come from whatever just happened. "Good Amilia your right on time have a seat...It has come to my attention thanks to this young lady that our English teacher Ms. James has been fraternizing with one of our students and as a punishment she is being relieved of her duties and you all will be receiving a new teacher" he turned to Alicia "Now Ms.James it's not illegal what you dis because from what I am aware the student is 18 but however it is frowned upon and will not be tolerated we wish you all the best with your future endeavours the guard will see you out" she nodded and grabbed her box leaving bria left behind her and I got let off with a week detention and a warning that I would be expelled of I was caught with another teacher and Kam ended up going back to elementary school teaching at Kah school.

*End Of Flash Back*

Since that has happened my mom thought it would be bedt if we stick with the original plan an I moved in after graduation and that I not stay the night as much as I did so needless to say I haven't seen my baby or Kam as much as I like and it sucks. So here I am with all black Black Pyramid hoodie and jogging pants on with my hair thrown up in a messy bun with nothing but EOS on my lips and hugs on my feet. Grabbing my phone and keys I went down stairs grabbed my coat getting in my car and making ny way to school.

"Nice of you to show up Mrs.Harris and look with ten minutes to spare since you decided to so grace us with your lovely presence come and explain to us the meaning behind this shakespear quote "We know who we are but know not what we may be" I faked a smile and stood up "No problem Mr. Cartwright... the quote from Hamlet simply means that people know exactly the person that they are but have no idea or can't even fathom the person they can be for example greatness, a king or queen we have unlimited amount of thing we can become but don't see it because we're to busy focusing on who we already are or portrait to be" he nodded "That's correct and that was the bell your homework for tonight will be to pick any book of your choice and write me a two page synopsis of what it was about good bye and have a wonderful weekend" I got up about to leave out with Tiana "Not so fast Ms. Harris" I sighed "Tiana ill catch up with you later" she nodded and walked off rubbing her stomach "Yes Mr. Cartwright" I asked facing him he motioned for me to sit but I declined "Ok then Lola you are a very bright student I don't get why you are always late slack off or be so nonchalant about the class" I sighed "Honestly I don't mean to be late seriously and I don't slack off I do all my work and get straight A's just because you don't see me doing anything don't mean nothing I just be done with my work so I do other things to occupy my time I have no problem with the class Mr. Cartwright look I gotta go before I'm late for second hour" "Alright just be sure to get here on time rest of the semester I would hate to give you detention" I nodded and walked out.

It was now lunch time and I was bout ready to go home "Mil can you take me home I'm in pain" tiana whined as we exited school for lunch "Yea baby I got you come on" Even though Mere drops her off and pick her up since school started back she went back to work and sometimes even worked through lunch. We got in my car and were about to pull off when my phone vibrated I pulled it out and answered without looking "Hello" I answered "Hey love have you went to lunch yet" I smiled hearing Kam voice "Actually I was just about to drop Te off at home then go get some"  "Don't bother Mere just left here so after you drop her off come over" I smiled "Ok babe ill see you soon" she said ok and I hung up "Good news my love your lovely fiance is home so you and my baby can get all the pampering y'all need"  she gave a slight smile but I could tell by how red her face was that she was in pain so when I pulled off I made sure I went as fast as I could without getting pulled over.
