It was a regular evening in Paris, when suddenly a not-so-normal sight was found near the Pathé Beaugrenelle Movie Theatre.
Famous superhero Ladybug, was spotted in front of the movie theatre, looking crossed and angry, while holding a box of caramel popcorn.
"What the hell was he thinking? Out of the blue invited me to a date then disappeared in the middle of the movie? What a jerk!" Ladybug exclaimed in fury.
She was infuriated about Chat Noir. He had left her alone at the cinema, with no specific explanation. First, he said he was going to the restroom. Then, he never returned.
Ladybug is not pleased at all, "this is not usual of him. He usually is very polite and such a gentleman. I wonder if something had happened..."
She looked down at a rose in her grip that Chat Noir gave earlier, with an unsympathetic frown. The frown then slowly faded, and her face turned to show disappointment.
Ring ring!
Suddenly her normal phone — Marinette's phone, rang. Someone is calling her.
She picked up the phone, "hello?"
"Marinette! Finally we can get a hold of you! Where have you been?! It's chaos out here. No time to explain. Come to Adrien's house, quick! Something has happened to his father! And this one seems serious..." Alya spoke from across the phone.
"What did you say, Alya? Something's happened to Adrien?! I'll be right there!"

De-transformed Ladybug — Marinette, walked in hesitantly through the towering gates of Adrien's house. It was exceptionally crowded there. Even the well-known reporter, Nadja Chamack, and her whole news crew, was there in front of the house! Tens of people came, and only a few of them are allowed to enter the house.
Marinette is lucky because she's one of Adrien's close friends, she has the permission to come in.
She ran and quickly joined Alya and some of her friends in a huge room that seems to be a bedroom. "Hey! What's going on? What's so urgent?" Marinette asked.
Alya just lowered her head in sorrow and gestured her head at a bed in the middle of the room, surrounded by people.
Marinette got curious and tried to walk through the horde and arrived at the very front, facing the very own bed, with an unbelievably surprising sight.
Gabriel Agreste is lying on the bed weak and unconscious.
She felt her stomach dropped.
"What... happened?"
She noticed a "Do Not Touch" sign near the bed, which she thought was rather unusual, but quite understandable — remembering how uncomfortable Gabriel is with public, and what a secretive person he is.
She then tilted her head a bit to the side, and found Adrien kneeling with his head and hands folding while resting at the end of the bed.
"No... it can't be..?"
She then looked around and realized that everyone else who understood the condition faster that she did — all covered in tears and despair.
At the edge of the room, stands Lila Rossi. She was crying and screaming hysterically as if she even knew the old man at all.
Marinette scoffed at the sight of that two-faced liar.
Chloe Bourgeois was also there — with her butler standing behind her, holding a box of tissues which seems to decrease in amount fast. Chloe was trying to look tough in front of everyone, but I'm pretty sure everybody could tell that she's secretly wiping her tears off.
That's when Marinette spotted her other fellow classmates — Nino, Nathaniel, Kim, Sabrina, Mylène, Alix, Ivan, Max, Rose, and Juleka, all rounded up together at the edge of the room.
They all looked glum and some of them were even weeping.
This is indeed the worst day for Adrien's closest. But soon, not only for those in Adrien's house that time, but also for the whole Paris.
A huge war is about to commence.
