Ladybug slammed the door open and found her team all covered in wounds, "are you all okay?"
"Do we look like we're okay?" King Monkey asked feeling annoyed.
"Where's Carapace?" Ladybug asked worried of her friend. "He's inside Master Fu's bedroom. Wayzz needs time to recharge and gain his energy back," Rena answered.
Ladybug sighed in relief, "thank goodness."
"Thank goodness?! Are you kidding me?!" King Monkey couldn't take it anymore. He's raging, "We fought with all our strength, didn't even come close to success, and returned home with scars and disappointment!?"
"King Monkey's right, Ladybug. Chrysalide is way too powerful. We will never be able to beat him without Chat Noir," Pegasus also sighed.
"I'm sorry everyone, but we are still unable to either contact or find the whereabouts of Chat Noir! I don't know what on earth happened to him, but we can only pray that he's all right. I know Chrysalide is one difficult villain who is unlike any other supervillains that we've fought against before, but that's why we must try harder! Being a superhero is not all cool breezes and sunny days, you know," Ladybug said, motivating the other heroes.
Rena flashed a weak smile, "she's right, but not now. Now, we need to recover."
"I agree." Pegase and King Monkey nodded in unison.

"Guys, guys, gather up," Ladybug rounded up the her superhero friends who were earlier resting and enjoying themselves.
"I think I know why we haven't been able to beat Chrysalide," her face suddenly lit up, "we've been blind this whole time! We've been fighting him with strength and mainly relying on our physical abilities, without even considering what the right thing to do is! What if we use less muscle this time, and start using more brain? Think first before we act!"
Everyone started staring at each other in confusion, "she could be right! We were so blinded by the desire of winning that we forgotten what rational thinking is!" King Monkey gasped as he smiled at the crew. Everyone else replied his smile.
"This is it! The moment we've missed!" Ladybug yelled feeling more ecstatic than ever as everyone else cheered as well.
"Okay, now, focus. What can we do to beat Chrysalide? Pegasus, got any ideas?" Ladybug looked at her smartest fellow superhero.
"Right, Ladybug. So, as far as we've watched Chrysalide, we can definitely conclude that his powers are including controlling plants such as trees, and any other insects, with our most concrete evidence being dragonflies. Also by controlling insects, he even may has the ability to take over Ladybug. But it looks like Chrysalide himself isn't aware of the existence of this ability. So we aren't exactly sure about this one. Anyway, with rational thinking, what can possibly beat plants like trees, and bugs?" Pegasus asked the team.
"Chainsaw to cut through the wood?" King Monkey asked blatantly.
"Bug repellent?" Suggested Rena.
Ladybug thought for a while until a particular word crossed her mind, "humans?"
Pegasus smiled in satisfaction, "bingo."
"So what I have in mind — is we beat them using regular equipments humans use to destroy their own earth, which is non-renewable energy and polluting chemical components," Pegasus explained his plan.
Rena was completely puzzled, "so for example, let's just say I brought a plastic bag which is not easy to decompose... then what? What are you going to do about it...?"
"This is only an alternative weapon, Rena. Ladybug still will use her creation power, I will use my teleportation, you will use your illusion, Carapace will use his protection, and King Monkey will still use his distraction power. As for the polluting plastic and chemical components point — being all natural elements, our enemy will indeed back down or feel threatened by the presence of mankind's unnatural creations," replied Pegase.
"So, you mean, we need to provide unnatural and such earth-destroying things to make them surrender?" Rena asked again.
"Pretty much, yeah."
"But that doesn't make sense at all, Pegasus. Or... is it just me?" King Monkey shrugged. "No, I also feel unsure about this. Pegasus, are you sure about this plan?" asked Ladybug, extremely agitated.
Pegasus looked at her arrogantly, "are you questioning my intelligence, Ladybug?"
Ladybug gasped, "NO! No at all! I will never!"
Pegase chuckled, "good! It's all set, then!"
