Chapter 30 - The Diadem

Ron's POV
"Bloody hell. We'll never find it on this." I complained.
"There he is. And Erika's with Harry." said Hermione, pointing at the map. Then suddenly, their names disappeared.
"They just vanished. Just now. I saw it." said Hermione.

Then I got to thinking....That's it!

"Maybe they've gone to the Room Of Requirement. It doesn't show on the map, does it? You said that last year." I said.

Hermione slightly nodded. "Yes, I did."

"Let's go."

"Brilliant." I heard Hermione mumbled, surprised.

Erika's POV
Harry and I walked into the Room of Requirement.
It was filled with old furniture.

"Harry, can you feel anything?" I asked.
He didn't say anything, until he went up to the table and opened a box.

"This is it." he said.
I walked up to him and saw. A tiara.

"Quite pretty." I said.
"Be careful, don't let it control you." Harry said.

I nodded.

"Well, Well." I heard a familiar voice. It was Draco. He came with Goyle and....Blaise?

"What brings you here, Potter?" Draco asked Harry.
"I could ask you the same." Harry replied. I felt Harry's hand squeeze my hand and I squeezed back.

"You have something of mine. I'd like it back." said Draco.
"What's wrong with the one you have? And I don't have yours." Harry said.
"It's my mother's. It's powerful, but it's not the same. Doesn't quite understand me. Know what I mean, just don't lie to me, I know you have it." Draco said.

I pulled his wand out and his eyes widen in shock.
"I know the connection between you and my sister, Malfoy. But it looks like it's broken." I said.
"W-What?" he stuttered.

"The Connection is broken. And I'm going to let you figure it out on your own." I said, throwing back to him.
Harry already knows what I'm doing in the first place.

"Why didn't you tell her? Bellatrix." Harry said.

Draco's eyes soften. I saw Blaise slightly lowering his wand.
"You knew it was me. You didn't say anything." Harry said.

Draco slowly lowered his wand.
"Come on, Draco. Don't be a prat. Do him." I heard Goyle whispered to Draco.

"Think twice before you do anything stupid, Malfoy." I said.
And he was shaking a little bit.

"Easy---"

"Expelliarmus!" Hermione disarmed Draco.

"Avada Kedavra!" Goyle send the killing curse.
Harry grabbed my waist and moved me into his chest, as we ducked down.

That was close. I thought.

"Stupefy!" Hermione send another spell. It hit the diadem and now...it's somewhere.
Harry released me and went to look for it. When suddenly......

"That's my girlfriend, you numpties!!!" Ron yelled, chasing after Goyle.

I glanced at Hermione and she was smiling.
"Finally!" I said, smirking.

"Oh, shut up." Hermione mumbled.

Hermione and I climbed up the furniture and helped Harry.
He found it pretty quickly. "Got it!"
We climbed down and Harry grabbed my hand.

Then I sensed fire, up ahead.

Oh no.

"Run! Run!" Ron was screaming. His face was priceless when he came back to us.
"Goyle's setting the bloody place on fire!" Ron grabbed Hermione and ran ahead.

Harry and I looked behind us. I saw fire shaped like a snake. Harry and I ran while holding hands.

"I wish I knew how to stop it, but it's too powerful." I mumbled to myself.

We were surrounded by fire, but then, Ron grabbed brooms and gave us one for the each of us. We flew. But then, I saw Draco and Blaise.
I didn't see Goyle anywhere. Probably he's dead.

"We can't leave them!" I shouted.
"She's joking, right?" Ron said.

I flew ahead and tried to get Draco's arm. But I missed.
Belle would be desperate if she founds out.

Or would she? I thought.

"If we die for them, Erika. I'm gonna kill you!" Ron exclaimed.
"Be my guest!" I shouted.

I flew closer to Draco and grabbed his arm.
As we flew, Hermione made an entrance and we got out, but I lost control of my broom, same thing with Harry.
Draco got up and helped me up.

"You okay?" he asked.
I nodded.

"Go and find Belle. She probably needs you." I said.
Draco nodded.

"Thanks for giving my wand back." he said, then he left.

"Harry!" Hermione threw the fang to Harry. I came up to him and held his hand.
"Together."

I nodded and we stabbed it together. As we did, Harry fell backwards.

Black smoke came out.

Ron kicked the tiara back into the Room of Requirement the door closed.

We all looked at Harry and he was panting harder this time.

I went to Harry and held his hand. I gave him a squeeze and he squeezed back.

Then he looked at us.

"It's the snake. She's the last one. It's the last Horcrux." said Harry.

We all glanced at each other and Ron kneeled down.

"Okay, Harry, look inside him. Find out where he is. If we find him, we can find the snake. Then we can end this." Ron said.

Harry panted as he closed his eyes. He was panting and shivering at the same time.
It took a moment for him to open his eyes again.

"I know where he is."
