Josh's POV:
----------
"I am absolutely exhausted," I huffed, plopping onto the bed.
Jen and I had just got back from filming. Both of us were close to collapsing. Jen threw herself onto the bed, her arm resting on my side.
"Seventeen hours of filming..... How many breaks did we get?" she questioned.
"I don't know, maybe ten. I lost hope after the third break. I'm so tired I could fall asleep in the middle of the highway."
"Yeah...... I feel like I could... like I could............ sleep on a......"
I waited for her to continue. She didn't. I peered over at her. Sure enough, she was fast asleep. Within a few seconds of closing my eyes, I was out like a light.
--------------------
I woke up to the smell of morning breath. Coughing, I sat up.
"God your breath smells awful," I whispered to Jen.
"You sure know how to make a girl weak at the knees," she mumbled sarcastically. "Well anyways.... I'm gonna go take a shower. Are you sure we weren't drunk last night? I feel like I'm going through a hangover."
"Need any help?"
"What?"
"You know.... with the shower. Wouldn't want my princess to get hurt. That water-pouring chamber can be extremely dangerous."
I wiggled my eyebrows suggestively. She proceeded to roll her eyes.
"Two things. One, that 'princess' thing is really annoying. And two, I've been showering perfectly fine for years. I'm pretty sure I can handle it myself."
"Okay, but if you suddenly forget how to correctly put shampoo in your hair, I'll be right here waiting."
"Honestly Josh...." she began, stifling a laugh.
She hurried out of the room, pretending to nod her head in disappointment. I sat down on the couch, turned on the tv, and waited for Jen to finish. A few minutes later, I heard the water turn off.
"Uh Josh....?" came her voice from a distance.
"Yes?"
"We're out of towels."
I practically sprinted to the bathroom.
"What ever shall I do about that? Quite the predicament you're in."
I could pretty much feel her rolling her eyes.
"Just go and call room service."
"Wait wait wait, I have a beach towel in my suitcase."
"Get it please."
I rushed to my suitcase, grabbed my blue and green beach towel, and sped back to the bathroom. Holding out the towel, I knocked on the door and held up the towel as though it belonged to the Queen of England. I then proceeded to close my eyes and turn my head in the opposite direction.
"Your towel, m'lady. Don't worry, I'm not looking."
I felt the towel being slowly pulled out of my grasp.
"Ready?"
"Yup, you can look now."
I swiveled in place to see a soppy-haired Jen modeling a childish beach towel. Her impatient expression and tapping foot would usually intimidate the average man. She was beautiful.
"Oh stop staring and hop in the shower. You have all day to watch me look fabulous," she smirked.
Who was I to protest? Closing the bathroom door behind me, I undressed before slipping into the steamy warmness. I turned the knob counter-clockwise and let the warm droplets engulf me.
