Josh's POV:
----------
I ran after Jen. Watching her cry pained me in more ways than I could describe. Apparently I'd been crying too, because when I grasped my face in regret, my hands returned wet. Barely containing my fury, I shot a dirty look at my brother and chased after the car.
"Jen!!" I exclaimed, hoping she'd hear me. "Jen, please!"
Family members stared at me but I didn't care. I had to get her back. Rapidly yanking out my iPhone, I tried calling her. No answer. Once again, I attempted a call. Like the first, there was no answer. Great so she's not answering her phone. How am I going to contact her? Of course! I'll go to her hotel room and try to explain what really happened.
--------------------
"I'm here to see Jennifer Lawrence."
"Name please," the woman at the front desk replied, not even bothering to look up.
"Josh Hutcherson," I answered.
This time, she raised her head.
"You're Josh Hutcherson?"
"Uh yeah."
I must've had tear stains on my face because she looked at me sympathetically.
"I'm sorry, Mr. Hutcherson. Miss Lawrence specifically instructed me not to let anyone up who possessed that name."
I sighed. How was I supposed to apologize now?
"I might have a solution for you, but you can't tell Miss Lawrence."
"Yes, please. Anything."
"Miss Lawrence told me I couldn't let anyone up whose name is Josh Hutcherson." She stared at me expectantly, as if I should be catching on. I was clueless. "If you're not Josh, you can go up," she explained.
"So.... you want me to be someone else? Hide my identity?"
"I have no idea what you're talking about."
I was confused at first, but then she winked. I assumed it was secret code for 'let's keep this between us but you go ahead and do it.' Doing this could result in trouble, but I had to do it to get Jen back. It wouldn't be easy, but it had to work.
