Josh's POV

----------

I hear a huge crash followed by sobs. I'm not sure what the crashing noise was, but I'm pretty sure it's Jen who's crying. I slowly walk into the other room.

"Jen?" I asked nervously.

I'm answered by a few muffled sobs. I can't believe what I saw. It's Jen. She's on the floor crying, but I have no idea why. Her head was in her hands, and her petite body was shaking continuously.

"Jen what's wrong?!" I questioned, sitting down next to her.

I wrapped my arm around her small body and pulled her into my chest. She nuzzled her head in the crook of my neck and continued to cry. I stroked her soft blonde hair.

"Shhh. It's ok." I cooed softly. "You can tell me. Whenever you need me... I'm here for you."

She didn't say anything back, she just sniffled and cried some more. After a lot of sobs, she managed to choke out a few words.

"I-I... I lost h-him." She cried.

"Who? Who is he?" I asked, desperate for a hint on what's going on.

"N-Nick." She stuttered. "He b-broke up with me."

As soon as she finished her sentence, she broke down into more tears. I felt awful. I want her to be happy, but I don't want to make her uncomfortable. I'm not sure what I should do to comfort her, so I just continued to stroke her delicate head.

"Shhhh. It's ok. I'm here." I whispered quietly.

I leaned in and planted a gentle kiss on the top of her forehead. I hate to see her sad. Seeing her sad makes me sad. I hugged her tighter and pulled her closer. She continued to cry, but the amount of tears was gradually dying down.

"He's a bastard. He doesn't deserve you. You deserve way better than him. You shouldn't be crying over him, he should be crying over you." I told her.

She nodded slightly and wrapped an arm around me. I held her tightly in my embrace, but not too tight. We sat there motionless for a while, until Jen was wiping the last tears from her eyes.

"Now," I began, wiping a tear from her left eye, "how about we finish that movie?"

She gave me a weak smile, and nodded in agreement. I grabbed her hand and helped her stand up. I have to admit though, I miss the feeling of having her in my arms. We stood up and walked back to the couch.

"Jen, what was that thing that crashed?" I asked uncertainly.

"Oh... that." She giggled. "That was my iPhone. It kinda sucks but whatever."

I love Jen. She can turn the most depressing situations into the most funny situations. If I could, I'd stay with Jen forever. Oh my god. Am I falling for Jen?
