Jen's POV:

It has been three months since Josh and I started dating. I know this sounds really cheesy, but I feel like we were meant to be.
"Are you excited for filming tomorrow?" He asked, flashing a smile at me.
"I like filming but I'd rather spend the day with you," I replied slyly.
He leaned in for a kiss. I did the same. Within a few anxious seconds, our tongues were battling for the throne. He tasted sweet and fresh. I was determined to win, but so was he. It was a blissful oblivion. But, like many things in life, it left as quickly as it had come. We slowly pulled apart, and as much as I hate to admit it, a goofy grin was plastered on my face.
"Not bad, Ms. Lawrence."
"I could say the same about you, Mr. Hutcherson."
"I just wish we could spend all of tomorrow alone, doing whatever we want. Hey, maybe we could call in sick!"
"Josh, you know they'd suspect us. They're always making little comments about how we would make a perfect couple and-"
"But we are a perfect couple."
"-if we do anything suspicious, rumors will spread and truths will be revealed."
"Why are you so worried about this? Why do you want to hide our relationship? I wanna scream it to the whole world!"
"I don't know, Josh. I just.... everything will change."
"What's so bad about change?"
"Well, for starters, our relationship would be in magazines. The paparazzi would follow us around everywhere."
"Publicity isn't all bad. I mean, our fans would be happy and it'd be great for our chemistry on set."
"We already have a lot of chemistry."
My sentence was followed by silence. It wasn't comfortable silence; it was awkward silence. Finally, Josh spoke.
"Jen..... what are you afraid of?"
He gently took my hand, encouraging me to answer.
"What if we break up? One of us will seem like the bad guy and the other will seem like the poor kid that got dumped. Everything will be awkward between us-the public will make sure of it."
"I guess we just have to chance it. If we end up growing old together, great. If not.... that's ok too. We have to come clean some time. People will find out eventually. The longer we wait, the longer it will be hanging over our heads, daring us to make a false move."
"You're right. But I want to do it on a day that we don't have filming. The last thing I need is to be teased by the cast about it. How about Thursday? We don't have work on Thursday so maybe we could walk around town without hiding our love?"
"Whatever you want, princess."
"Princess?"
"Yeah, I thought it was kinda cute."
"It's cute.... but just stick to calling me Jen. Let's save nicknames for another day."
