Chapter 6

*ding* *dong* I heard my doorbell go off. I ran down the stairs and opened the door. "Hey Alyssa!" I opened the door for her.

"Hey girl" She smiled and walked in.

"Come my rooms this way!" I said.

"So many damn steps!" She whined.

"Alyssa theirs like 7 steps" I chuckled at her coming up the steps.

"Well that's a lot for me and my body brooo" She puffed air from her lungs when she reached the last step.

"Such a drama queen"

She set her stuff down and laid back on my bed. "AHHHHH THAT FEELS GOOD!"

"Oh my god" I laughed and laid down next to her. She booped my nose.

"Ok break over" I giggled getting up and going to my closet.

"So I don't have any idea what I'm gonna wear" I said.

Alyssa chuckled. "Okay let's see your closet" She got up and walked over to it.

I sat there just watching her choose items. "You should wear... This over the shoulder red shirt with this black skirt and these heals" She said holding the outfit out to me.

"That's actually really cute" I said taking the outfit.

"Go try it on" She shoved me towards the bathroom.

As I put it on the shirt went really well with my hair and the skirt looked really good and showed my curves.

I walked out and Alyssa gasped. "Wow girl you're going to kill this party!"

"Awe thanks" I gushed.

"Now for the makeup" She said and grabbed my makeup bag.

*time skip to when we're finished* (because I don't think you care about how many swipes of mascara goes on her eyes😂 where are my makeup guru's at????).

"Wow Alyssa! You made me look good!" I said shocked.

"Pfft you didn't need much" She giggled.

"Well thankyou! You look pretty great as well" I smiled at her.

"Awe thanks" She gushed and swayed.

I look at the time and it's 6:30 the party starts soon.

"You ready to go?" I asked.

"Yes!"

We just arrived at the party and cant find anywhere to park so we drove around the block. "Sheesh literally there's nowhere" I said.

"Oh look over there!" Alyssa pointed to an open area and we parked.

"What street is this? I questioned.

"Why?"

"So we know what street we parked on! Duhh"

"Oh" She giggled.

"Looks like were on Monroe" I said to Alyssa and she nodded.

"Okay let's crash this party" I said confidently.

"Yeah!" Alyssa threw her fist up in the air.

"You're so silly" I smiled.

We were right in front of the house with lights flashing and music pumping very loud.

"You ready?" I asked putting my hand on the door.

"Yeah"

Suddenly the door flew open causing me to fall. "Ouch"

"Oops sorry bro" Some guy said who was completely waisted already.

"Omg Makenna! Are you okay?!" Alyssa asked helping me up.

"Never better" I said sarcastically. She hooked her arm with mine to make sure I didn't fall again and keep me close.

Alyssa and I walked in and immediately got intoxicated by the smell of alcohol and sweaty teenagers all over. The music was so loud that it cause my body to jump with the beat. I guess that probably was why a lot of people dance. Isn't there supposedly a live band?

"Let me know if you see Riley!?" I yelled over the music and she nodded.

We walked to the kitchen and it was packed. We had to unhook ourselves so we could squeeze through and then when I got through I turned around and she wasn't there.

"Alyssa!" I yelled looking though people and couldn't find her.

I continued on to find Riley and hopefully when Alyssa finds Riley I'll be with her.

I went outside by the pool I dont see any food trucks:(and found Riley sitting on Ben's lap.

"Hey Riley!" I said.

"Hey. Where's your date? Or did you decide you wanted to third wheel after all?" She asked.

I furrowed my eyebrows "I lost Alyssa, have you seen her?" I asked.

"No"

"Oh ok thanks!" I said walking away.

"Makenna!" I turned around and saw Alyssa running at me.

"Alyssa!" She hugged me.

"I'm sorry I saw my brother and then you were gone" She sighed.

"Oh it's okay" I said.

She hooked onto my arm again and we walked back over to Riley.

"Rie!"

"What?" She asked.

"I found her!" I said.

She looked over "oh that's great" She said sassily.

"Yeah" I said.

"Well bye now have a good time" she said.

"Riley" I said in a defending tone.

She ignored me and started making out with Ben.

"Gross I spat and walked away. She is really getting in my nerves" I said to Alyssa and she nodded.

"I don't think your friend likes me very much" She said sadly.

"It's not you she's just not giving you a chance" I comforted her.

"Okay" She sighed.

"Stubborn girl" I sighed with her.

We went back inside for awhile and danced until we got really thirsty. "Wanna come get a drink with me?" I asked. She nodded and we walked into the kitchen. I saw a ton of different drinks but I'm driving so I went with water.

"What are you getting?" I asked. "Water" She sighed.

"Well you don't have to have water if you wanna drink. I'm not drinking because I'm driving tonight" I said.

"No no I'm gonna drink water, you don't need to be taking care of me because I got to drink and you didn't". She said.

"I don't mind honestly, if you wanna drink go for it" She sighed and shook her head

"Nah maybe another night".

"Okay" I said.

"You wanna go outside to get some fresh air? I'm dying in here" She asked.

"Yeah we should I'll go check on Riley" I said.

We walked outside together and Riley was making out still with Ben.

I cleared my throat and she looked up. "Oh hey ken!" She practically yelled.

"Uh hi" I said. Alyssa walked next to me.

"Ugh she's still here!?" Riley groaned.

"What the hell is your problem?" I asked.
